This figure looks amazing, I really love those hidden features, amongst them being the great articulation.

Not sure it broke, but connection doesn't work :(
I hope they can send me a replacement, but there aren't many parts held by screws on Kenryu

Is it supposed to pivot at that point of attachment? Maybe it just need to go back and can be glued into place?

Yes for pile formation you have to rotate inwards a bit to give an angle. i thought about using glue but before that I wait for their answer first.

Thats cool. I remembered when I ordered my first release of Goshogun and Baxinger from him, he told me he is friends with Lu at Awaking Studios and that he gets great support from him.

Just got my Goshogun reissue today. Looks good, and his back is very clean (I've seen photos with "scratches" that could be due to mold issues). Paint is great with the exception of this tiny chip on the white area in his chest, which makes me very sad. This guy is definitely not on the level of Flame Toys 3K products when it comes to paint. At the end of the day though, it's great to have a representation of this character.

That's good to hear that the reissues do not have the scratches in the back. Can you take a picture of it? This is one of the things that bothered me about the figure and I am thinking about asking Tony to replace that part if they fixed it.

I don't have a good camera .... so unfortunately I can't help. Let me tell you though, I'd rather have scratches at the back then this tiny paint chip on the chest .....

It's cool no worries. I'll probably end up picking up an extra to keep as backup anyways.

Okay. So quick thoughts on Gordam. I’ll start by saying I love this design. I love, love, love wonky-ass 70’s designs. The box is a bit of a disappointment from a POSE standpoint. POSE has been putting everything in the excellent heavy-gauge boxes. This is slightly better than Bandai cardboard.

What’s in the box is mind-blowing. POSE is leading the high-end robot market. I don’t even know where to begin. Everything works exactly like it should. It’s heavy as fuck. Nothing moves under its own weight it moves everywhere but never under it’s own weight. Which frankly I am so accustomed to after collecting Gokins for years. Joints that can hold the weight in any position is so, so appreciated. There is so much additional decisions in so many areas. The interior mechanics and all that paint. Amazing. Is articulation sacrificed? No. The articulation is off the charts. The ribbed arms are a totally unique take on arms and articulating something like that. All the little vehicles, perfect. Store simply and safely inside the bot, wonderful no bullshit, no fiddliness. This pulls together so many robot collectors gimmicks all of it balanced perfectly. You don’t trade any one gimmick for another, panels don’t pop off. It’s just amazing. Yeah and you get a great little toon panel of the characters. A pack of what I assume are stickers of characters to on clear stands, I haven’t opened them. A full color instruction book.

I could kiss the company on the mouth.
I post a bunch of shit photos in a spoiler to not gum but the thread more than I have.

Just to mention the great job done by Robotoybase & Pose+ who send me replacement parts for my Baikanfu.

I also received their Gordam, that I can't check thoroughly as it's my birthday present. But I can tell it looks & feel great.
