I'm just curious to see how many people who don't already have a Games of Deception Botcon 2007 five figure (Bugbite, Dreadwind, Thrust, Thundercracker and Dirge) set, still would be willing to buy one at the regular price if they were somehow available. Please just post "yes" or "me" or "I would" and keep all other comments such as they should because or they shouldn't or its fair or whatever out of this. This is just a poll. Thanks in advance everyone.

Judging by Pravus Prime's response, I can assume that my instructions were not clear. The thread itself is the poll. If you are interested in buying the 2007 Botcon Games of Deception set, but have been unable to do so, please say so in this thread. Just add a post stating "I want one", "I will buy one", "Yes", etc. Anything will do. I just want to see how many people are interested in getting this set and were unable to do so before it sold out. Thank you all for your responses.

I passed on the set/pre-registering not because of the toys, but because most of the extra stuff I wouldn't be able to make it to prior to the saturday and sunday events. So for me it didn't make sense and as a collector, I like the classics but I'm not looking to spend a lot on collecting them.

 

I'm willing, able, and looking to buy one. Just can't make it out to the convention or I would have by now.

The set? no, It's an insulting set I think. $100's to complete a set of figures Hasbro started at Retail?!?!. but I WILL get my hands on that Alpha Trion figure!

 

I decided to order mine when the order sheet came out. I only got the boxed set, but i might now get the loose set to sell here or on ebay.

Anyway...no, I wouldn't get a set this year mainly because I already have the G1 versions of most of the set and am just not interested in the set this year.

 

Because you don't like certain people's opinions? Your constant "Shut up and live with it" attitude about botcon is just as bad as other people's constant complaints.

We are all entitled to voice what we think. If we're gonna say if we want one or not, we may as well say why.

 

Sorry to hear that you think of me that way. I never thought I had that kind of attitude. It isn't necessarily that I "like" or "dislike" someone's opinion, its that I think some folks use threads like this to rationalize their own skewed opinions of the situations at hand.

That and maybe I misinterpreted the original poster's thoughts when he said:

I didn't get the set and I still want it! (So if anyone can help me out for a reasonable price...)

I agree they are overpriced, but these are some of the best figures Hasbro has turned out in a while and I would like to complete the set.
