    Hey all,
Now that quantrons price has been announced and the fact it's another gift set, I thought if like to know what the rest of you are intending, seeing as how it IS 399 for a five figure combiner. Simple poll, warbotrons computron or quantrons and why.
P.s. My votes for quantron. Looks much better IMO.

I don't see the poll... But Maketoys all the way. I love that scale and I love the FP/MT aesthetic.

Maketoys... Way more advanced transformations/engineering, design is gorgeous, and man Warbo hasn't figured out how to do combiner arms yet.

Poll should be up now. This forum tool made the thread first and then asked to make the poll.

I may get Warbotron's Not-Afterburner because I like the design, but I'm voting for Maketoy's Quantron.

Maketoys. All of the combiners I have are at the "Giant" scale, so I'm not going to change it up now. Not to mention, MT puts out stellar product!

Warbotron. I need to buy combiner figures individually for customs tax reasons.

Maketoys, I like the size, the style and the engineering looks better so far.

Could've told u the outcome. You put up FP or MT against any other 3rd party out there and they'll win.

Wouldn't it have been better to see what Warbotron was offering first? I've seen their Afterburner, but that's it--have they posted more pics of the whole team?

As things are now, Quantron's sure to win this poll, as he's a done deal. You know what everyone looks like in all modes and you know what all comes with as well as the price. Warbotron 3 or whatever has so many unknowns...

Or an option for neither? As in waiting for another company to release theirs.

But if I only had the two options and no future prospects of say, tfc releasing something down the road, I would go with maketoys. Just becuase I don't trust warbotron to do a good job. They're too shady a company for my tastes.

I'm either getting MT or nothing. Nothing that Warbotron put out so far has interested me enough to want to commit to their scale, not to mention the whole BBTS thing. I wouldn't say I'm biased toward MT/FP, I'm just biased against Warbo.

There's definitely a forum bias towards FP/MT. I'd be curious to see a poll of them against MMC. Though, the acclaim that MMC gets IMO is warranted. But even they are overrated at times.

    Quantron.

Maketoys impress me, I like their aesthetic and I enjoy the quality of their product. Their sculpts are superb. The crispness that sometimes gets lost between grey prototype and finished article doesn't happen with their stuff.

Warbotron have come out fighting though, not necessarily with their take on Computron but with their Swindle reveal - that is a brilliant looking figure, one I plan to own as a standalone, and the in hand pictures of their Brawl are fantastic too.

Their Computron just doesn't sing to me, Scattershot in particular is leaving me cold, although it's early days yet.

Honestly, in spite of the market saturation I'm glad there's a choice for people. Lets not see a third one though, eh?
