Which is a better descriptor for “something from Cybertron”? I prefer Cybertronian, but it may just be because I heard it first. Cybertronic just grates on me and doesn’t seem right.

Or are there different contexts that dictate which is more suitable?

I'll go with "cybertronian", thank you.
To be fair, I don't believe I've ever seen or heard the term "cybertronic" to be used in official materials or fanfiction, where did you find such? After an eternity of being treated to "cybertronian" as a noun and as an adjective and "cybertronians" as people "cybertronic" just rubs me off the wrong way, even though I can see how it could work between "Cybertron" and "electronic".
That said, I may be mistaken, but wasn't there an actual technical term "cybertronic" in English language? There may be some confusion.

If memory serves, "Cybertronic" was used in early G1 material such as the Marvel comic and some tech specs.

Edit: Funpub also used the term in some of their MTMTE profiles.

I’ve heard Cybertronic here and there, but I wouldn’t say it’s very widespread. The most notable example is probably that horrible Transformers cosplay band, the Cybertronic Spree.

I think the only times I’ve seen “cybertronic” was in reframe to technology/weapons and such

I think Cybertronian makes sense when describing the citizens of the planet & history of it. But I like Cybertronic used to expound on scientific applications like say their fuel or weapon systems.

I've never heard the term 'cybertronic' until now. It sounds like something to do more with music and/or electronics than a race of alien robots.

I've only heard it in reference to the band Cybertronic Spree and It's a pun on the band name The Polyphonic spree.

"Cybertronic," for those unaware, was the term favoured by the G1 cartoon. "Cybertronian" referred to an individual Transformer, while "Cybertronic" was the descriptor for things - technology, creatures, locations - "of" Cybertron. "Cybertronic airspace," "a cybertronic bolt bat," "a cybertronic energon smelter," etc. Think the difference between "Earthling" and "Terran."
