    Saw it when it first got released but if you want to see it at the movies enjoy.

    That movie was released in American theaters on my 8th birthday, which was November 10th, 1999!

    Cool. Still really enjoy the first movie, including its' old VHS promo reel with terrific trailers for Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders, The Iron Giant, etc. Even the promo for that cheesy bubblegum pop song that was supposed to be the main theme of the movie, but only got in the last 30 seconds of the credits. :lol  Late 90's/super early 2000's was a great time for Warner Bros animation. Scooby Doo, Batman Beyond, Justice League, the Pokemon movies. Lots of heavier stuff and very intimidating, cool trailers.

    ...I think it's because this is the franchise's 20th anniversary.

    I can't remember if it was the Chicago Reader or The Onion or maybe even another paper I read at the time but I'll never forget its HILARIOUS two-sentence review of the movie...

    "The first movie? That sounds like a threat."

    I literally LOL-ed and almost did a spit-take when I read that.
