Got my Shiny Gengar, average IVs except for Attack (lol) and a Quiet Nature.

 

Didn't want to bother soft resetting for a better one? Only took a couple times to get one with perfect Special Attack, only Docile nature though but good enough for Sludge Wave abuse.

 

I always forget you can just do that, now I got some soft resetting to do. Never plan on using him on my team, but it'd be nice to have a decent Gengar. Come to think of I currently don't even have a Mega on my competitive team.

 

Check your email guys, got my demo code. Mine was in inbox under promotions, (with gmail) but also check spam just in case

 

I didn't get mine yet. Don't worry too much if you haven't, people. They're supposedly being sent out on a rolling basis. Might even take a few days.

 

And do remember to play through the demo 10 times to get all the things you can transfer to the full game (5 pokeballs, 5 heal balls, 10 heart scales, and of course the Mega Pokemon).

Considered getting the demo but i decided to wait until it comes out at retail as that way i can get a heads up on anything that might make me choose one version over the other.

That said i will probably buy which ever version i passed on later on.

 

I don't see the reason that you chose not to get the demo...

 

Considering the demo is free or at least a nice bonus with related Virtual Console purchases and offers a cool (heh) Mega Stone early, I don't see why you would skip the demo. It has absolutely nothing to do with choosing whether you want Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire either.

 

If anything it helps you decide which started based on the megas that you choose. Seeing which one fits better with your preference

 

Man, there is literally nothing in the world that can make you feel more like shit, then losing your pokemon game.  

 

This is why I go digital. Can't lose the card and I could also make a pc back up of my save in case I lose my system or someone saves over my save.

UK codes are for the whole of Europe I believe, hence why you can play.
