I feel like it would be a letdown if the only new paradox pokemon will be the legendaries teases in the books.

"Added functionality", huh? Wonder what that is. Would be nice if it added real clothing options or brought back some of the QOL features they dropped.

I've more or less given up on an optimization patch. Unless they include general performance under the umbrella of bug fixes. Which is possible, if the issues are the result of bugs. But I won't hold my breath.

S/V doesn't need to be updated for Home.

Home needs to be updated for S/V

I still doubt it will be adding the missing QOL features. They could barely patch the game I doubt they have time to make new assets will working on other projects.

Not quite sure what that has to do with what I said....

But they may be adding things like mass release.

I'm taking a guess that Greninja will be the speed-based mighty mark since Charizard was Sp.Atk and Cinderace was Attack. That leaves Health, Defense and Sp.Def left. Anyone wanna take bets? I'm thinking Blastoise will be after Greninja then Venusaur and another grass starter.

Blastoise and Venusaur aren't currently on the list of transferable Pokemon so I wouldn't expect them for awhile or until DLC. Interestingly, Carbink is on the list, the only none Starter, Legendary, Mythical, Arceus exclusive evolution, or alt/regional form of a SV Pokemon to be so. Maybe a link to Diancie will be established in some way?

Finally took the time to beat 10 5 star raids and do some much needed leveling up for these raids.

I missed Charizard but I got Cinderace with the Slowbro technique.

So i recently sold a Pokemon Yellow sealed and graded 9.2 for $5000 CAD, and the buyer received it today COMPLETELY destroyed by customs shipped via UPS.

Not happy. What a fucking horror story, I'm so upset. Now what do I do, just be out all that money? Obviously the guy is gonna get his money back and im screwed.

At the risk of necroing a conversation, I think your name is in that first screenshot, choom. May wanna remove it. If its yours of course.

    EDIT:

So I gave my kids Scarlet and Violet for Christmas, along with their own Switch Lites. Except they were supposed to be mine but needs must when the devil drives. It turned out for the best though, kids loved 'em.

I got my own copy of Scarlet about a week ago and have played it basically since. Its interesting how mixed a bag the game is. On one hand the lack of trainer customisation is disappointing after X/Y and Sw/Sh and hell it might not have stung so much if those uniforms weren't just the ugliest shit ever. On the other, holy shit the difficulty curve is back baby and its got its spanking stick out. Either that or I'm just flipper handed in my old age but while normal trainer battles aren't a big deal, beyond the terrifying expressions on the trainer's faces, the gym battles have been kicking my ass and I love it. The free roam thing is my biggest.....thing. Its kind of neat to be able to do functionally EVERYTHING once the tutorials are out of the way but Pokemon's linear design I always felt was a strength more often than not so it can be overwhelming to suddenly be a bit directionless.

Though I'm enjoying it the game is not without some very obvious faults. NPCs move very stiffly at a distance and so do some buildings - the windmill in the Grass gym town is one example. The sandwich making mini game with the picnics is the very definition of asinine and I suspect was developed by the same grumpy asshole who made Pokeblocks and curries. Also the picnics being how you get eggs is, if I may, no bueno. Crafting TMs is also an interesting middle ground, though I think I preferred the infinite TMs with better moves being TRs in Sw/Sh, I'm not opposed to this idea but I would like them to not play fucking coy with the ingredients: the machine knows what I need, let it tell me and allow me seek it out as part of my challenge.

Some of these faults can be fixed with better optimisation especially since equally and better looking games can be played on the Switch and (to my knowledge) have not suffered as much. Failing that, though I hate to say it, it may be time for the Switch to receive a hardware upgrade. But I'd like them to try optimising more first.

Overall so far its a middle of the road, through trending towards the back, entry in the franchise. Sword and Shield felt better to play overall but its true facts I'll play Scarlet again before I settle into try fucking Diamond and Pearl ever again. Or Yellow.

Also, start upscaling and porting the DS/3DS games to Switch eShop you bastards.

Would be a bummer to me too, but if the DLC works like Sword/Shield, all the legendaries were already known from the main game's data rather than being added from nothing, so it's however many empty spots are already known and no room for anything else.

Then you'd have people whine that knowing what basic Pokémon exist partway through the playthrough was spoiling things for them or whatnot, no real winning there for people in the midst of the story. Post-game, yeah just make it clear what everything needs, no excuses.

Not when TPC can get another company to do remakes again!
