I'm going to laugh if she is ash's daughter but we never see any of the possible mother's in a similar way we'll never see ash's dad.

Personally, I just think she's a new character that happened to like the emblem that ash liked.

 

I would like the character to be Ash’s daughter. We have a lot of Gen 1 players turning into parents. I think it will be a nice generational thing. But this is coming from a childless Gen 1 player.

As of the mother of it turns out that way. Yeah I would love the mom to be a no show like Ash’s dad.

 

I actually think the whole "Everyone has to be related to everyone else!" is a serious problem.

In that case it was a terrible choice that was jumping through narrative loops that made no sense in the end.

Having Ash age up to what would be if he did age naturally is different and isn’t a narrative slap in the face. Despite the character being retired people will still ask for him to come back or cross over. Especially since it’s animation. Ash might not be the protagonist anymore but I don’t think it is really the end for the character. Plus people always gets super hyped when Red and Blue show up in games after Gen 1. This will be the same effect but in anime form.

 

Its still wild Ash is being retired.

Just solo'd Cinderace using Slowking. Slowbro works too you don't need Slowking.

Holding a Shell Bell.

I kept using Chilling Water whenever Cinderace used Bulk Up. Then in the meantime, the goal was using Iron Defense and Nasty Plot 3 times each. I would get derailed and use Chilling Water to counter the Bulk Up. After all the Defenses and Plots, I tera'd into Psychic and spammed Stored Power to win.

So I beat the games around Christmas.

All in all I had a fun time exploring the region, catching Pokemon and interacting with the new characters.

I very much appreciate the final arc and climax of the game.

Yes Pokemon needs to optimize their games better, but I am looking forward to what comes next for the franchise.

So I just found out my iron moth has the uncommon mark "sociable" and now I can't unsee it just hovering around saying "Hey buddy! How's your day going?" And engaging In an full alien conversation that causes the other Pokemon to panic.

These two moves thematically go with the interpretations of two Paradox Pokemon exclusive to the Scarlet/Violet book found in the library that a researcher drew from his own imagination on what creatures could be found in Area Zero.

The designs of course go with the leaked/rumoured Paradox Suicune and Paradox Virizon. If you haven't seen the images in the game yet, then here.





Hydro Steam and Psyblade seem to be their signature moves. Making me me think that they are indeed coming even if they don't look 100% like the images above.

My guess for typings are for Suicune it could be Water/Fire or Water/Electric. Paradox Virizon maybe being Steel/Psychic or Fighting/Psychic

Zygarde is coded in the game but can't bring the model in.

 

To the scarlet players who've completed the Pokedex. Got any advice? I'm getting exhausted trying to find anyone will to help me get koraidon's dex entry to get the shiny charm. Literally just him left.

Thank you but that route doesn't work for me. even after blocking 6 hours of trying and ending with blocking people, all I get are people looking for koraidon as well. Guess I'm just out of luck.

 

Six hours? In a row?!? I would’ve given up after one (if that) and tried a different time instead. That’s what worked for one of the paradox trades I was trying and getting the same results.

Also Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.2 is set to launch in late February and feature bug fixes and "added functionality"

 

Kinda disappointed. I was hoping for a but wait there is more and show us the 3 teased legendaries

 

It'll be nice to round it out to 1011 soon.

Will be interesting if we get any more regional or convergent Pokemon though.
