Once a year, a "wind festival" is held in Fura City, the city where people live together with the wind. While the ancient belief that the legendary Pokémon Lugia will appear and bring about the blessed wind on the final day of the festival still exists, the people that gather in the city participate in the festival while wrapped in their own thoughts......
Lisa, the highschooler and Pokémon rookie.
Kagachi, the braggart that just can't stop telling tall tales.
Trito, the timid researcher that lacks confidence.
Hisui, the old eccentric that hates Pokémon.
Largo, the mysterious little girl that hangs around in the forest all by herself.
These are the people that Ash and Pikachu meet. That meeting makes everyone's story start moving forward.

F---ING LUGIA!!!! I MISSED HIM A LOT! Him? Her? Anyway, missed Lugia a lot. xD I really enjoyed the "I choose you" reboot film. I hope to enjoy this one as well.  

 

I was rewatching some of the "Pokemon Generations" episodes from over a year ago. Makes me wish they did at least 3 more for the Alola games.

 

I get you there, but by the time the miniseries ended, Sun/Moon were about to be released and they didn’t do those mainly I’m guessing because spoilers.

 

Absolutely. I should have said "I wish they'd make some now" earlier.

 

Most likely would have been about The Po Town Infiltration, Aether Foundation Headquarters Assualt and Lusamine's Ultra Space Battle.

Or at least, I'd like to see those.

 

Speaking of, March 24 is when we’re finally getting the Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon arc of the anime in English, called “Ultra Adventures”.

 

personally, i'd like these episodes..

1. The scenario which pulls mohn from his family and lusamine's decent to madness.

2. anabel's side of the ultra beast invasion (we saw how exhausted she was)

3. Giovanni's gathering of the rainbow rocket members (heck, they could pull the villians from this very series to work. archie and maxie were almost eliminated, so they could've been pulled at that point, saving their lives. just have Giovanni give them new clothes)

 

Is Giovanni still in the anime? I thought I'd read some place years ago they were 'retiring' the character in respect to his original voice actor after his death... But then, it's been so long since I've seen the anime I really have no idea.

 

the anime? no clue since i never watch it either. last i remembered he showed up to steal meloetta in black and white, and i know that was only because it was in my suggested feed on youtube once.

 

Yeah, that was after the original voice actor died, I looked it up on bulbapedia. So either I was mis-remembering or they decided not to retire the character. Even though I haven't watched the anime in years, I'd be interested to see them do the Rainbow Rocket storyline, and bring back all the villain Team leaders. That was my favorite part of Ultra Sun.

 

maybe a bit of both? anywho, the RR episode was just awesome in USUM. definitely establishes zinnia's story of canon multiverse.

you know what is another GENERATIONS thing i'd like to see? the making of type:null.

So, is there a Pokémon to be gotten via wi-fi or code this month? Or not? Because I thought we were supposed to be getting a Pokémon a month and nobody has said anything. So, what's up?

 

Yeah, Regigigas for S/US and Heatran in M/US. Their code will be given out via the Pokemon Trainers Club Newsletter this month. As far as I know, they haven't sent out the Newsletter yet though. At least, I know I haven't gotten the Newsletter email yet...

 

NEWSLETTER??? I'm not subscribed for that, ugh, I thought it was all e-b games. That's what serebii initially reported. I have a feeling I won't be getting the legendary this month.

 

man i cant wait to see how they mix things up for the nintendo switch, hopefully we see something before the year end

 

Think at the end of the day, whatever the switch game has up its sleeve, all i want is a huge new region to explore and a proper number of new pokemon to fit it. I like when they keep other regional pokemon to a limit, only if it boosts the ingame environment and/or feel natural being there.

Just felt like some pass gen pokemon overshadowed some of the new ones by being in the game.
