...wait...wasn't there a leak for sun/moon that was partially correct, but messed up the lycanroc and starter info? i remember reading that rockruff would evolve in four different ways if it was brought to a cliffside depending on the time of day..morning, evening, afternoon, and midnight...maybe that was just postponed/altered?

 

I don't think we're getting 2 new forms for it, seems either its a evening form or just ash-lycanroc.

 

Interesting but its such a small image its hard to judge it. that said the green eyes bit is of interest.

Neat, cool to see this is finally happening. New Lycanrocs have been teased since the release of vanilla Sun/Moon, placeholders were up on the PGL site for more forms of a few Pokémon since launch. Excited to see more about this.

We might be getting two, the PGL placeholders note a "Lycanroc Form ID 4" as well.

According to Pokemon's twitter it's called Dusk form.

I suspect there might be another one they'll reveal later called "Dawn form" that's biped and looks closer to the Midnight Lycanroc.

 

So, seems the general consensus is "Gamefreak is lazy, be more original, stop pandering to furries and too orange do not like"

Honestly I've been wanting this, since I liked midday's body, but midnight's hair.

 

I'm mostly in this camp. I'd rather just use Midday since this just looks like that but with uglier colors. I wouldn't blame someone for thinking this is a shiny instead of a new form.

 

Ye I see where they're coming from, they still could've made a more prominent gradient inbetween the forms

 

I also find it ironic that this gets revealed while I'm grinding my Shiny Midday Lycanroc on Moon.
