from what i looked up, the glitch happens when the game is being hacked.

    no hacking, no problem.

but i'm taking as a precaution of not saving in pokémon centers and
    the battle tree.

where are the mushroom maniacs/collectors, i got a lot of tiny and big mushrooms that i need to sell off for cash.

Looking for a Japanese/French/Korean Ponyta or Rapidash for breeding. Stats and gender are not important, just trying for a Shiny for my wife. Alternately, I'd be happy with a shiny Ponyty or Rapidash from ANY region, lol!

My daughter lost my Platinum and X carts with all my good stuff, and I've just started Moon, so not a lot to offer, however I do have the XYORAS codes for a Genesect or Volcanion that I'd gladly give!

    Friend code is: 2853-1974-9376

If it is then I absolutely DESPISE Nintendo right now...

EDIT: I've been checking and it seems to be just PKHex giving the problems, nothing about Action Replay.

There was a thread on /vp/ earlier today talking about Powersave corrupting saves. Which is good in my book, the less cheaters the better frankly.

One thing I don't care for is the massive hikes in computer levels when you transition to other islands. Feels like a huge setback.

So, I read that there is excessive dialogue and cutscenes. Having watched videos of the beginning, that really seems to be the case. Considering I am always in it for a journey and exploration, I might just give up on getting the game because of this and some other factors.

Also, read some Mega Evolution bios from the game. All this crap about it harming the Pokémon bothers me. That is absolutely unnecessary and just makes the game darker for the sake of darkness, which is still something that shouldn't be in Pokémon to such a degree.

There is long dialogue moments at times. If your team is good it shouldn't be an issue. I usually reset the games if I'm close to losing. Restarting the fight can be a pain mashing A through all of the dialogue.

I do wish I could have insight about how good my team I have planned is. I asked a short while back if I would have problems. Even then, aren't you forced to go to a certain place at certain times with little flexibility? It looked like a cutscene or chat around every corner in the videos I have seen.

Might as well post my team again to see if it will get looked over.

Dicudueye: Spirit Shackle, Leaf Blade, Pluck, Sucker Punch

Alolan Raticate: Crunch, Ice Beam (if the TM is anywhere to be found), Hyper Fang, Hyper Beam or Shadow Claw

Snorlax: Hold Back, Happy Hour, Psychic, High Horsepower

Vikavolt: Acrobatics, Thunderbolt, Bug Buzz, Thunder Wave

Lycanroc: Brick Break, Rock Slide, Echoed Voice, ???

Salazzle: Toxic, Venoshock, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower

Honestly, the one I want most is Raticate. I heard of a general team weakness to Fighting, so I spread coverage moves amongst my members.

What entry suggests it harms the Pokemon? None of the entries I've seen so far have said anything like that... Mostly what I've seen just talks about the Mega evolution unleashing the Pokemon's full power and/or making them more brutal.

There certainly are parts of the game that are very dialog heavy, but the game isn't that inflexible... The game will tell you where to go in order to advance the plot, but it's not like you have to visit that location right when the game tells you to. I've found the game is pretty free about letting you explore.

Glalie's jaw breaks, Garchomp's skin melts, Sharpedo gets such a lust for battle it gets scarred up and Aerodactyl's sense of violence "may be" because it is in such pain. Them becoming more brutal is bad too, what with turning what is touted as your companion to a monster or, in Salamence's case, it turning on you.

Thanks for clarifying. It must have been the guy in the videos jumping to the next event without much regard for grinding or exploring.

Someone on Tumblr found an easter egg in Team Skull's base; hanging on the wall next to Guzma's chair is a framed cross-stitching that actually (No joke!) says "Bless this wretched hive of scum and villainy"!

That doesn't take it out of the lore. They still made it canon, even if me and others don't have to read it. It's still a turn off, especially with how the previous few games focused on it and promoted it as this cool new thing. It still takes away from a few of the things that attracted me to Pokémon in the first place: the cute and cool things in a benign setting.

To be fair, the Pokedex entries have never been benign. Even in Gen 1, we had entries like how Cubone wears the skull of it's dead mother...

That said, I think you're reading a bit much into some of those Mega evolution entries. Glalie doesn't break it's jaw, the entry says that it dislocates its jaw when it envelops its prey, which some real world animals do. Sharpedo isn't the only Pokemon with battle scars, such as Zangoose as a result of its rivalry with Seviper. Aerodactyl's entry about it being in pain is entirely based on speculation. Garchomp, admittedly is pretty disturbing. I'd only seen the Moon entry for that, which doesn't mention skin melting at all. But still, as a whole, I'm not seeing that any of it is meant to be taken as Mega Evolution causing harm to the Pokemon.

As someone who has been into Pokémon for a while, I am aware of the dark earlier entries. I don't approve of more being added is all. The Cubone thing creeped me out, but I forced myself to overlook it. It's getting harder to overlook.

The Glalie Mega Evolution entry I read specifically said that its jaw breaks from the excess energy, but what I read was from articles detailing leaks, so maybe they were changed in later versions. Dislocating its jaw is still pretty creepy, even when it exists in nature.
