seen these mentioned in a few threads, but I don't see a dedicated thread for them. here's their twitter account: POCKET TITANS (@pocket_titans) | Twitter and some reviews: 【レビュー】POCKETTITANS ROBOT RC 【レビュー】POCKETTITANS ROBOT Rf BOMBER 【レビュー】POCKETTITANS ROBOT Rd POWER 【レビュー】POCKETTITANS ROBOT Rb and some other vids: I'm interested in these for sure, something about the base building is really appealing. I'd really like to see how the pilots scale with the new diaclone stuff, but I suppose thats not a huge deal.
As mentioned here : Diaclone Reboot KOs They haven't been released in the U.S. yet. Side by side with Diaclone The real question is...why haven't the RIHIO Multiabysss folks mentioned them yet?
The robot and pilot look more like they're from the M.A.R.S. converters line, meaning cheap. I do like the bases, though.
What's this? Bases that aren't lego inspired, oddly transformer scaled, and decent gunpla style robots that could use a little decorating, and pretty useless humans unless you want some random drones! This is going to reap in profits and on the off chance, cause big choking hazards!
They definitely have a cheap Kabaya toys look and feel to them but that appeals to me. I'm a fan of any line that has micro action figures that fit inside of vehicles included so that's a bonus as well. Case in point - I've never owned a Gundam gunpla set but would have bought one a lifetime ago if any one of them had come with a Diaclone style pilot
...Maybe because I'm tired after a long day at work, but I legitimately can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.
Assuming the price point is between $9 and $12 i don't see a problem with what's being offered. A poseable micro pilot and a mech with easy pop and swap limbs makes that a good value .
Any updates on these? There was an influx of news and reviews then they went silent. Hoping they show up when stores do their resets soon.
If only I could give this more thumbs up! This is the content I like to see. This is why toy manufacturers and IP producers need to invest more into mecha properties . You get the transforming robots with the human component satisfying both crowds and you have so much more story telling potential . I also love the relative simplicity of this line . A line like Gundam Micro Wars is almost TOO simple and chibi. The Diaclone line could be seen as too complex by some . The Rihio line starts to straddle the line between the 2. Pocket Titans squarely hits the mark. Just enough interchangeability and mech articulation. Just enough accessories and pilot articulation. Just enough unique designs in the first run. Just enough of a blank canvas to customize. They've hit the sweet spot if these aren't too pricey.
For those who don't follow the official twitter, it seems like they are hoping to have them on the shelves (at least for Europe, that was the only place explicitly asked about in the thread) in the next few months. Also they added pictures for a board game, which personally interests me very much.
