There was some discussion a while back as to whether that's really a legit item, something about the spoiler still being yellow and the packaging not being what it should. Either way it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too freaking expensive. I could just grab a reissue for like $20, a screwdriver, and my can of Krylon Fusion black and make one in a couple hours.

I *heard* that a while back that seller was selling other TFs' dyed black, claiming them to TRU JP exclusives, when no such toy existed.

I've dealt with Kong on several occasions and have never had an issue. I think he was duped on this one when he bought it and I know people have tried to tell him so...it's just an all black test shot...a nice piece, but not a $3500 piece. It just happens to be in a similar color as the proposed LD figure...
