So far Michael Bay is clearing trying to show that Lockdown is a menacing figure that is causes many issues for the Autobots (reason for retrieving the Dinobots). However, in the end I don't think Lockdown will be the main villain.

Most of us have seen the battle between Lockdown and OP that has been teased in the TV spots and trailers which is in Chicago (I believe, where ever that factory with the pillars is located). However, Lockdown has not been show in any scenes which are set in Hong Kong. Also, I was watching some of the filming of AOE and the Lambo isn't in the Hong Kong setting either.

So this is my theory, Lockdown gets killed by OP in the battle that I described with the pillars after the whole Texas scene and capture of course. Also, Lockdown's army is killed in the Chicago battle. This is where the plot could go a number of different ways...

Option 1:

Whoever sent Lockdown to Earth sends a more powerful force which is the fleet that is shown in basically every trailer. This fleet is sent down with the "big bad" that is everyone is wondering about and that "big bad" becomes the main villain along with some possible Dinobots and the man made TFs.

Option 2:

After the Texas scene Galvatron is taken in by Lockdown to be used as a solider and becomes Lockdown's right hand man. (Galvatron has his own thoughts; not control by humans anymore) After Lockdown's death, Galvatron learns how to control the other man made TFs and becomes the main villain for the Hong Kong battle and possible movies to come using the man mades as his army.


Maybe some plots that I didn't think of. But what do you guys think?

 

Option 3. Megatron's head in the lab that is making the new transformers becomes aware. Megatron takes control of galvatron away from the humans and merges with it giving him a new body. He later gets some more upgrades and becomes 4 times bigger. This causes the people that made these new transformers to get help from the autobots. That's when bumblebee gets his upgrades

 

Pretty good theories. I hope Lockdown makes it through to the final act.

 

Um, the scene we see OP and lockdown fighting and OP being thrown up against the silo walls (that was shot in Chicago) is in China in the movie. It has Chinese writing on it after all lol. And the ship being shown sucking stuff up and dropping stuff is also over Hong Kong.

90% of what was filmed in Chicago is not going to be Chicago in the movie. Just as everything that was shot in Detroit will not be Detroit in the movie.

 

I hope lockdown makes it to the end. In the final scene you see his ship in Outer space. Then you see him kneel outside of his ship in front of UNICRON.

 

Chicago is not in the movie. In the same way as mark wahlberg isnt, he,s just an actor, the character is chuck yeager.

Go do some looking up. Getting really tired of these stupid threads, so much worse than for the previous 3 movies.

 

actually chicago is in the movie a little bit, aka drone fighter scene but thats about it, and this theory isnt really great because those ships in the trailer are now known to be the ships the dinobots came on in prehistoric times soooooo yeah debunked

Yeah at cinemacon this ships were shown coming to earth when real dinosaurs were arounds so those "snail" like ships are actually dinobots ships, oh and Chicago is in the movie like I said drone fighting scene when one of the droe's blows up a Chicago bridge and when bumblebee jumps onto trump tower with all the humans after falling out of lockdown's ship
