I know when the film releases and maybe even before the film releases, please absolutely do NOT come here and post something like, "LOCKDOWN DIES AND UNICRON IS SEEN". Just please for the sake of others do not post spoilery thread titles. This is just a reminder for when you all see the early screenings two weeks from now. How about avoid the threads until you've seen the movie? Then you have no risk of spoilers. That's what most smart people are going to do.

 

I will, lol. Some people unfortunately aren't smart enough to do so. So, I'm trying to cover their backs early.

 

It's just the right thing to do.. We have hundreds of guests visiting a day and we shouldn't ruin the movie for others. Putting a thread title as "IRONHIDE DIES, SENTINEL IS THE VILLAIN" is just stupid. When we get closer we should make a thread called "Let's discuss AOE (WARNING SPOILERS)" or something like that, and when you've seen the movie you can join that discussion! Make it fair on those who have to wait weeks after the release to see the movie.

I think it's smart to avoid the website in its entirety. I'm seeing the movie the day of release or the day after so I don't have to anti-TFW for too long.

This. We should also make a non spoiler thread about our thoughts on the movie like: Was it good? Is it funny? Stuff like that should be answere/discussed in that thread.

Depends on when you're seeing the film. You should really leave by the 19th, being that that is when the first screening takes place. And I'm sure some tfw members will see it lol.

The Hong Kong Premiere is like 6 days away. I know most are dreading coming across spoilers. While I'm one who will be actively seeking spoilers, I'll make sure I keep my posting to the actual spoiler threads. Do we have a thread here specifically for AOE movie spoilers? If not, may I suggest we make one and keep it posted to the top of the page so there aren't multiple spoiler threads. That way, all spoilers are kept to a very bare minimum on other non-spoiler threads.

The moderators should post a warning. If anyone leaks a spoiler in the thread title they get banned. It's going to happen since the premiere is on the 22nd

 

Excellent idea. Some of us won't be able to see the film for weeks (I'll be in the field till mid July) but see no reason why I shouldn't visit my favorite TF site in the meantime. I'll be avoiding this specific forum until after mid-July, but don't need to see spoiler titles in the board index.
