The Legions technically were Megatron, since they were all created from a shady government experiment involving the body of the original G1 Galvatron.

Ha! Yeah, Wheelie's a 20+ year old toy, but it took KISS to make me realize how scandalously-placed his "rub-sign" is.

 

Specifically, that's not actually Kiss Players, but "15 Go! Go!", a one-page strip that ran in a different magazine, but was by the same writer/artist. It revolves around Teletraan 15 (a "living extension" of Teletraan 1) travelling through time and space to gather up information to rebuild Teletraan I's databank after it is destroyed by a mysterious saboteur. It existed essentially to promote the reissues at the time (Perceptor, Kup & Wheelie, Star Convoy, Galvatron, Blaster & Steeljaw, Laser Optimus Prime), but in its final chapters, it incorporated the Kiss Players Position cassettes (who were dropped from the KP radio show one week into the story), and offered up some visuals to go along with the conclusion of the KP story.

It's not *nearly* as skeevy.

But it's close.
