Hello All, I can't thank you all enough for your kind words. I'm here at the hospital on their free Internet service. I was just told that Marsha (Freyabeads) is doing well in surgery as I type this. She's in the last 30 mins of the operation, the closing. I'll hear from the surgeon in another 30 min or so, and hopefully I'll get to see Marsha in another 90 minutes or so. I'm sure your posts will bring happy tears to her eyes when she's next able to log on. I'll update later this evening, but so far so good. God Bless you all.
I hope she pulls through okay and has a speedy recovery. I remember meeting you both at Botcon last year, you're both awesome people and you deserve nothing but the best.
All, new update. Freyabeads is rebounding well. She's doing okay and is comfortable at this time. I'll head back to the hospital in the AM, but she has a phone (and gave her word) to call me if she needs anything. Neck is a bit sore, but that's to be expected. Staff told me that if she keeps up with this recovery, I may be able to take her home tomorrow. I couldn't ask for better news at this time. Now I need to get some rest for tomorrow, it's been a very long day.
