So. All in all, greatness is great?

 

I got to play one at Best Buy today, loving the DS4, feels more natural and comfier than the DS3 did! The game I played was Knack...surprisingly fun! Kinda sad I won't be getting a PS4 anytime soon...but there'll be better games and less bugs by the time I get it, so it'll all buff out.

Played a demo on my lunch break today. Gotta say I LOVE the new controller!

 

Ultimately I just want to know how much time it takes to open the system, get all the updates, and actually play a disc game. The Wii U took about 2 hours having to get the update and setup all my options. All the setup takes a bit of the joy out of bringing home a new system.

 

Was anyone's power cable sort of tough to plug into the system?

 

Picked mine up from Gamestop with Assassin's Creed 4, Lego Marvel, an extra controller and a charing station for the controllers (had been paying on it gradually since pre-orders went live so it was fully paid off ages ago) and it's all working fine. Hit Target for their B2G1 first thing this morning but ALL they had was the same 3 games they had Tuesday....Battlefield, COD & Madden...(got all 3 on Tuesday)

Went to TRU and they had all the games and were price matching Target's ad   So I got Injustice, Need For Speed, and Killzone

 

Got mine set up at about 2am this morning so I didn't bother playing much until this afternoon. Played some FIFA and Knack and had a lot of fun. The controller is great and a huge improvement over the DS3. Fiddled around a bit with the cell phone connectivity and tried out remote play with FIFA which was pretty neat.

Still have to try out Killzone and AC4 but so far I'm really happy with it. The only issue I had was at first I didn't even know where the power button was to turn it on lol

UPS delivers ridiculously fucking late residentially here.

Thought this would have been different. Nope. Doesn't make it any less ridiculous.

 

My brothers both ordered extra systems online from Future Shop and Best Buy and they both shipped yesterday and arrived at the post office for pick up today. Still a better option than waiting all night, or in my case waiting in line at EBGames for 2 hours even though I had pre paid for it.

 

Probably wherever the hell my PS4 is.

 

Well at least they won't say "Too late to deliver today, will try again tomorrow."
