I found out about these this morning and decided I needed to have a couple. I decided to start with the gunship and interceptor. I'm pleasently surprised with the quality and fun. I'm looking forward to trying the other suggested builds and making my own monstrosity.

I've swiftly decided I need more. For the price, the value and play value are great. I'd have killed for this as a kid.

Are your custom builds each from their own contained sets or are they mix & match? The black jet and mech are brilliant.

Thanks! Most of them are mix and match. Naturally, the more sets you get, the more versatile your builds can be.

Early on there was a question about making big ships. So I was playing around with the Trident, and making things like this: 20200801_153625.jpg

But I kept feeling like it was only half a ship. So I said screw it, demolished all my forge ships, and used every grey cube in my collection (one of each, plus an extra Sabre and Lance). I really could have used more of the orange or turret connectors to add some extra stability but here is the surprisingly sound result:

Very cool, looks like a capital ship from Star wars.

I had to go to the store for my wife; I broke down a got two more ships: locust and scarab.

I made some changes to the locust (variant of the second build). I might have to pick up a second so they can fly in formation with my tweaked scarab.

Anyone tried mixing the parts from both sides?
There's a few examples in the app.

Those of you who have the [human] dropship, where did you get it? It doesn't seem to be in stock at any local Target.

Did you ask Playmonster or Interplay?
Playmonster told me 4th quarter, Interplay said early next year.

It is/was on Amazon, may be sold out by now.

Yeah that's what they told me, Interplay is the UK distributor though and they're saying next year so I don't which one is more accurate but it's a long way off regardless.

yeah. at least it means we've avoided the 1st batch, that one seems to have had a few (albeit minor) issues. anyone got a pic of what "mystery" thing comes with each vehicle? havent seen what the tankcomes with yet

It's an odd "engine" thingy. The app shows all the alien pieces in the parts list for each ship. Honestly I toss them in a bag and forget about them, guess I'm not the target audience for those...

Mine live in a bag as well. Not a fan of the sculpting or the mustard paint used on the "brain" looking part of the Uju tech.

I absolutely love this line. My only gripe is that I always end up wishing I had just a few more flat panels to cover up holes on the bottom of the ship! I really wish they would sell flat panels and cockpits separately. I'd love to build a ship with 5 cockpits similar to the maraj from Silverhawks.

Yeah, I'm still not sure what the deal is with the uju gimmick. I watched a video from toy fair when they were previewing them, and the poor marketing lady was so "excited" about uju tech and how it came in the mystery compartment, but I'm like it's right there on the freaking box.. I still wonder if the line lasts long enough if eventually you end up with enough pieces to make the Uber uju battleship or something.

I was thinking the other day about an accessories set, but then I was thinking about how I wanted more cubes. and more connectors. and more wings. and eventually I just processed it as buy more ships and get all those parts.. That said I still want a bunch of those 45° adapters from the sawfly.
