Hehe I hope they do make a real titan sized one :p
I figure the Maul is more Deluxe sized?

Got my 4 Maul kits in today(2 from PlayMonster, 2 from Amazon). They're beyond awesome. Been mixing/matching/building all afternoon.

The Maul is a truly awesome toy!!! The new style of Uju tech still sort of sucks but it sucks less than the weird gray and translucent orange stuff they gave us in wave 1. I always found those parts completely worthless. I like the green replacing the blue highlights on the new Forge vehicles...I really REALLY want a gray forge ship with bright red highlights next time.

I'd be good if Snap Ships went full on Snap Mechs!

While the Maul is great...it is also sorta limited due to the ball joints in the hips and the limited leg options...

Don't get me wrong...I have eight of them already and they are totally worth it. I have made four and six legged variants that are very cool. I have found a ton of build flexibility in the torso (keeping weight in mind) and the arms but I am still exploring more leg variants. So far I have not found a ton of variations in their legs that still provide for pose-ability...

Weight is a bit of an issue, the four legged variant is sorta unstable when posed walking (IE, two of legs raised) with roughly 20 cubes worth of weight built on a 3 x 3 platform...

I am going to explore more with the six legged variant this week.

All of that said, you can pull off a number of arm and torso variants to recreate the feel of a number of different mecha frames...even with the more limited leg options...so my nit picks are just that...for kids they are a huge win. My nephews are definitely getting four of these (and two of each of the other new sets) to go with their previous haul (two of each set) from their favorite uncle...

If they come up with better hip/ankle jointing I could almost agree with the above...I definitely want more mecha in the line...and a more robust jointing system to make bigger heavier mechs would be awesome as well!

One last note, for those following the Snapships Tactics tabletop game development, mechs and ground vehicles are included in the ruleset...and ALL of the parts they have made apparently have a way of being factored into your builds for that game...

Picked up a few of these kits recently to compliment my Diaclone collection. They’re pretty cool, not sure if I’ll keep them long term but they are a bit of fun.

I found some of the cockpits a little snug for the male dianauts (like the cockpit on the rover that comes with the gladius and the cockpit on the Interceptor) but a female dianaut will fit ok as shown…

Alternatively, you can reconfigure the rover slightly and hook up a tri-vers bullet core as per @Fort Max suggestion!
