i hope the title makes sense.

it seems that when playing ps2 games the system only recognises sixaxis pads.

i have a few ps2 street fighting games that i want to use my usb arcade stick for. it works fine for ps3 and ps1 games, but for some reason when playing ps2 games it won't work.

anyone else know about this or a way to fix it? i tried google but no answers :(
also i heard it was supposed to be fixed in a recent update...

It has not been fixed. Probably won't be.

I don't understand the problem. I thought that the only way people could play ps2 games with rumble on ps3 way back when before DS3 was to use a PS2 pad with a usb adapter. Does your joystick require special drivers?
