I predict that next year there will be a huge trypticon retooled from Stomp and Chomp Grimlock, I could be way off though, thoughts?

You're way off. I have no idea if we will ever see a decent Trypticon figure, but it sure as hell ain't gonna be that.

This is something I wouldn't mind seeing happen though. Guy is big enough to give Metro a run for his money, and he does have a "command deck" on his back that should work for legends decepticons nicely. And frankly, I ordered it after Balmatrix's review for this purpose. Robot mode looks perfunctory, but rex mode looks sweet.

Seems about right given how Platinum Edition's mostly been "desirable" repaints of giant gimmicky toys. It's not something I'd want myself, though.

I'm hoping that Energon Galvatron is next up for the line myself. -*------------------------------------------------------

No. Give us a proper Titan-Class Trypticon that turns into a starship or kill-sat and a base, thank you.

Sadly as sales figures of Metroplex are no publicly available we don't know if a future Titan class figures would be made available.

However it makes perfect sense to think that a retool of Metroplex would be the starting point.

Fortress Maximus could be one option given that the silhouettes aren't dissimilar, Tidal Wave could be another given that Gen Metroplex has a carrier mode, there's also Metrotitan who was featured in the recent IDW comic series.

I only saw Metroplex a couple times on shelves, think he sold well enough actually where he didn't linger so stores wouldn't be too hesitant for that size again.

I also think maybe every other year having a Titan class would help it work as well. Makes sure it is done right, plus wouldn't burn people out on trying to keep up with them(both for kids and collectors).

Either Trypticon or even Scorponok(since they're doing a lot of IDW stuff) would be awesome.

I'm a little surprised at how negative a reaction this is getting. I know, you'd rather see a "real" trypticon, but it looks like Maketoys will have us covered in that regard in the next year or two anyway.

Titan class or GTFO. I'd like Trypticon, Scorponok, Fort Max and Unicron as Titan class figures.

No. It would be a disgrace to Hasbro and to Trypticon's legacy.
