I really wanted that, but couldn't afford it at the time.

Platinum 1986 movie Ultra Magnus comes with Minimus Ambus. They don't care about complete accuracy.

I've heard people say its ok. I never bought it myself since I already had the older toy and didn't see the need to get a smaller version that just transforms into the Super Mode. Not sure if the later ones like WWI Grimlock and Prowl were any good.

    Well this is crap.

I dont feel like I need to add "for kids" or "for those of us who have the original" this set is crap for really any fan.

Honestly Hasbro stop. Youre trying to aim this at collectors and while we seem to buy any sh*t you throw at us (judging by others reactions) This is just a step too far. its like your testing just how bad a set you can get away with and frankly you've killed my interest.

Pile of crap. All the 20th anniversary stuff is.

The packaging is nicer than the toys in every example.

    Saves me money though...

Whether Titanium Roddy still has lost art construction has yet to be seen.

RiD and WWI Primes are the only two I still have on display. RiD might be the only one that can be called "good."

Roddy is passable, but I'd put him below WWI Prime and G1 Ultra Magnus. Probably on par with WWI Jetfire and Optimus Primal in the "passable, but compromised by the need to support a bunch of metal" category. Better than Megs or the sheer disappointment that was Soundwave.

If and only if Rodimus is made of plastic and not metal then I'll probably pick it up, it's not bad looking and I still don't have one...

Galvatron on the other hand I happen to like and i could do with a new Matrix as mine has some really bad paint wear.

...But the Rodimus fans could not be satisfied and their struggles continued on.

On the bright side... we DO get a spare MP10 Matrix we can use to stuff in Magnus or the new MP Rodimus.

I would buy the Springer mold repainted into Rodimus if it had a new head and an actual spoiler also new chest. So, I'd rather have a completely new voyager mold.

Until a proper Voyager Rodimus is out, I can admire MP Hot Rod on my shelf.

Titanium Rodimus ain't terrible. Nothing exceptional, but not really terrible.

Well, back then. No telling in what state the mold may be now.

But paired with this Galvatron mold...

Can't imagine at whom the set is adressed. Kids won't buy a Platinum box set and collectors know both molds.

Also, why give the Matrix to a figure who can't hold it?

Looks like I am in the minority with liking the Titanium Rodimus. I would actually get this set just so I could have a second one, although I am pretty sure this version will be all plastic.
