Ah, for some reason the old link still had no price and showed not available.

I was going to say, $160 CDN is only about $120 US. I think sometimes people forget there is other currency in the world. ;)

$160? At Wal Mart? Bwahahhahahah, thank goodness for the clearance-happy disgruntled workers at my local Wal mart, if it somehow makes its way there I'm bound to pick it up for $50.

$120 is slightly above my threshold. I believe I got my old one for around $90. Yes, the alt mode is garbage but in my opinion it has the best legends scale bot mode ever. Pictures don't do that thing justice. I truly regret selling mine.

Oh yes, that would've been very cool. There's something I really like about the thought of having nice miniature versions of the top tier transformers characters done like this.. I feel like it's a transformers equivalent to something like figuarts. Accessory laden, detailed, articulated 4"-6" figures

What as in "mini masterpiece"? If so, I agree. Mini masterpiece is pushing it a bit. Robot mode, sure.. But alt mode, even when compared to the MP-01 cab mode, it misses the mark big time.

120 US is about right for the Platinum Edition Price, I'll stick with my THS OG since it was 55 buck and a way smaller box.

"The regular version retailed for around $100."
That's what i was surprised about.
The Platinum Edition is apparently $120, which is ridiculous.

$120 is actually reasonable considering the original was only $100.

What?! It's only a legends class? Hahaha for 120 bucks.....yea, no thanks. The crappy alt mode makes sense now. $30 tops is what I would pay

No, it's Legends sized. But it is comparable to MPs in terms of it's detail and intricacy for its size. MP Bumblebee is deluxe size, but certainly more complex and detailed than a RID Warrior, for example.

$120 is farcical, though. I honestly wonder sometimes who these releases are targetted at.

Ehh...class....size, your getting ripped off all the same. Do you really need an intricate 4 inch transformer? lol at least those dx9 war in pocket tfs are only 30-50 bucks

You leave my getting ripped off out of this.

Do you really need any kind of Transformer?

Hasn't a common fan complaint of late been the simplification of toys? Also you realise it's not just a TF, it's highly articulated and accessory-laden. It's still a total ripoff, especially the absurd Canadian price of $160, but you're writing off this figure despite the fact that it is a really good toy.

Those are just as overpriced, as they're Cyberverse scale but not all that detailed or complex. This is basically a mini MP Prime, those are just price inflated Legends class figures.

All I'm saying is it seems pretty stupid to have a highly intricate 4 inch tf. What, are you supposed to use tweazers to transform him? I'm cool with clever and simple transformations. I think less is more. I hate having a needlessly complicated transformer that I can only enjoy a few times because I'm afraid to break it.

On a side note about complexity...I was almost considering that shuraking dinobot combiner until I watched the reviews.,, the poor guy sounded like he was going to cry trying to get it to combine together lol there was other things as well though, like the leg joints are crap and it being super top heavy.

But you know, whatever floats your boat. If tiny, intricate and complex tfs are your thing, then God speed. This Optimus actually looks pretty cool despite the truck mode and it's super tiny.

What do you mean by "especially" the Canadian price? The Canadian price will be equivalent to the US price, it's just different currency.
