Any idea when it'll start shipping out? TCP shows 3rd quarter but I'm wondering if anyone had anything more concrete.

 

I think the best guess is November if we’re lucky, but more likely December.

@Chosen Prime is in the US and the free shipping option they have are only for the Continental US. International is always separate.

 

Their PO policy states they will simply notify you of the change in price and increase it for you if the price changes.

$200 is a big pill to swallow, but I'll try not to choke.

 

Seems like my collecting days is getting nearer to the end than not.

 

For Grimlock I'll be fine paying a bit more for if TCP tells me to pay the difference in my pre-order. However, if companies keep pricing like this I'll probably have to back off the 3rd party game and only get "must-have" pieces.

 

The only thing stopping me from preordering is the flat look, I don't want to get this version when what I really want is a metallic recolor....

 

Huh, been away from this thread for awhile and surprised to find the sudden price jump on this guy. I'd put off setting a PO in the hopes for a more narrowed-down release date but it seems more and more like the old days of sleeping on POing is getting costly.

Decided to PO with Baba, so with discounts he came out to $167, and to my surprise, I had a $9 Paypal credit waiting for me? It's probably safe to assume almost no preorder "guarantee" is any kind of guarantee, but at least it's unlikely anyone is going to be BSing anybody about shipping costs like last year. (And yeah, I know shipping rates and priorities were all over the place last year, but that in no way takes away from the fact there were plenty of sellers still BSing those rates literally minutes to hours after sales were made)

that transformation is incredibly pleasing. looks like it does what it needs to with no frills and no parts-flexing, which was a real concern on their foc grimlock (though they were smart enough to use a flexible material for that section at least).

 

Agreed. At this price, I’d need the colors and finish to be perfect. They’re not quite there yet.

Oh. And just say “no” to metallic paintjobs (let’s save those for the reissues and other randomness). I would have definitely been less interested if this was in metallic.

 

Yeah I'm not a fan of 'metallic' paint jobs. I want it to look like it belongs on my MP shelf.

 

Same here, I get the appeal of their metallic versions or just metallic version in general but they just don’t look right to me for some reason they just look weird/off and kinda cheap (which there not but that how it look to me for some reason) looking also stick out with other figures from different lines/companies
