'Shall we dance, my king?'
Aaand now I'm going to go design a Shattered Glass deco for Stellarus.
What we could have maybe saw in LSOTW, great work
Details about what would have happen with Grim in LSOTW in my previous post - basically he would have been on Nucleon that made him more powered up, locking him in beast mode and he would have been the final opponent for anyone who progressed that far. Also the decepticons mocked him by calling him "king". The Wreckers would have knocked Overlord into the pit with Grimlock
Can you lock it in bot mode?
Who would win ?
anyone with their copy able to get pics of him with DNA's susanoo or arashi?? have a feeling they'd look good together
Overlord. Grimlock's a point one percenter, but so is Optimus and when he and Sixshot fought it was strongly implied that in a straight fight Sixshot would mop the floor with Prime. So I'd make the same assumptions with Overlord and Grimmie.

That straight up looks like someone drew it
As much as it hurts to read this - I’ll take your word for it
The biggest issue with IDW Grimlock's strength is we never actually see it. His strength is a lot of tell and don't show in the comics. All of his fights he either loses or get interrupted. Megatron, Shockwave, Scorponok, DJD. We see him obliterate a bunch of grunts and cannon fodder but we never see him do too much more than that. I have my own personal head-canon because Grimlock is my favorite so I have bias but to me he makes sense as being similarly powered to Overlord. No evidence of it but that's fine by me. So personally I think Overlord and Grimlock SHOULD be evenly matched but objectively in the story Overlord is stronger. Hell a lot of people on this sight say that Tarn would beat Grimlock too sooooo
Grimlock is implied by other characters to be right up there with any cybertronian. But Shockwave, who is not discussed in the same breath as phase-sixers or one-percenters, handles him pretty easily in early IDW, and even beats the entire Dynabot team (granted, they were vulnerable to the radiation). So his power doesn’t seem to match the hype.
but in my head, yeah, figure hold hoods on against anyone that isn’t titan.
This picture perfectly exemplifies just how big this Grimmy is. I bet he has a great shelf presence.
Also Overlord's made of indestructible alloy that doesn't help Grimlock as well.
I wish we got to see more of Grim in IDW idk why we didn't really.
IDW Grimlock is really strong from what we see him in IDW from The Autocracy Trilogy and Furman's stuff, but Overlord was almost as strong as Grimlock before getting the invincible allow that was so rare and strong it was not only a miracle he got any of it at all, he only ever lost due to the wildest of means or just giving up.
Yep. Physically Overlord was basically unequalled. Psychologically his biggest hurdle was his obsession with besting Megatron.
LSOTW, they tore his body apart but his ununtrium coated endoskeleton just wasn't quitting. He was devastated that he would be unable to face him in such a damaged condition, but it was only them convincing him Megatron was dead that stopped him in his tracks.
And when he finally got his chance to take Megs on again, he was disgusted at what he perceived to be a shadow of the former supreme tyrant and turned his back on the showdown he'd waited millennia for. Which was probably fortunate for both of them at that moment.
No one can equal Prime. He's got plot armor. That makes him a 0.0000000000000001 percenter.
And Bumblebee cause he's got money making armor which is just as if not more stronger.
This is the truth.
Bumblebee exploded and lived.
Prime died and actually stayed dead (although it was the very end of the continuity).
