First I'll openly admit MMC is my favorite company, so I'll get that out in the open and freely admit it. But do I see there issues why yes I do, even I thought the tarn remold saga was to much(althought imo roller fits the mold better then the others)but those remold are going to help bring us the other djd so I'll gladly except it. All company's have issues but MMC gives us characters we all love and want that most would never even attempt to make, true reformatted isn't top of the line when it comes to engineering like say fanstoys are even ut Peru kill, are they don't overly give there stuff a masterpiece style finish but I thought that was the point of reformatted they give us chug style figures except higher quality but not quite mp. MMC is being held to a standard higher then it should because of there greatness lol I mean your trying to compare chug to mp that's how great they are performing.

 

Just got Kadmos but I'm a bit confused by the screwdriver and the white bits. Is there some sort of flaw I'm not aware of?

 

Just got mine too, man this guy is easily my favorite of the year so far. So far only had time to test a few poses and transform but he's awesome. All the details and colors were worth the wait; same quality as Ismenios. The only negative thing I'd say so far are the ratchets on his hips and knees aren't as strong as I'd like. Alt mode is solid too; arms and legs lock together with backpack.

@kmopotato I think the white bits are if you want to cover up some of the screwholes. Screwdriver is for exchanging the face plate; head has a screw on the back.

 

Weird, I can just pull the faceplat off without disassembling the head. It has 2 more screws included so i'm wondering if it's for the thighs. The ratchets on mine don't seem to be even so i can't have his legs spread out. Also can't seem to get the cockpit locked in place in ship mode so it just kind of lays there.

 

Oh I haven't tried removing the faceplate, just assumed it was screwed in haha. I thought the legs were off too at first but I realized the knees weren't at the same angle since they're double-jointed. Also, it's not too noticeable unless you're looking at him from the side, but he always seems to be leaning forward or backwards a bit if he's just standing straight, I think it's the hip ratchets being slightly off. Cockpit seems fine on mine. There's 2 pegs base of cockpit that peg into the top of the small bot's feet that sit on either side of the head. Haven't figured out if there's a place to stow the sword in jet mode.

 

The white bits are screwhole covers, though 2 of them needs to be painted to color match. The 2 extra screws are for you to secure the wing pods in place if you choose to.

Also just found out that the feet are not secured in place with screws. Are all of them like that?

I'll definitely be taking a photo of Drift and Star Saber together. But I don't own MMC's terrible (in my opinion!) Cyclonus (I love MMC, but I *hate* that mold) -- if ONLY some 3P/KO company could have took RTS/BiS Cyclonus with MT hurricane kit and upscaled it to a voyager ... we'd have the perfect IDW Cyclonus!

 

If only Quietus wasnt so big because last I checked in the comics he comes up short of Saber's chest.

Closest to that size is generations Cyclonus that comes solo or with Rodimus prime.

Just when I was about to cancel my pre-order at BBTS I get an email saying it'll be at the warehouse around 10 days before processing my preorder. y'know what? I'm going to be away for those days anyway so might as well wait out the preorder when it gets here.
