Delicious, Finally! Some good scraping game accurate!
Agreed. I still have my official version and it's still rad. Only issue is that it is small and the legs are quite thin/hollow. I'm alright with it though as I see Shockwave as being able to have many bodies as established in the FOC comic with the dinobots, so this smaller version is just another varied up body type designed to handle different tasks.
Why can\'t this company do bruticus!!!!!! I want that so bad!!!! Like come on!!!!
I cannot wait!
I don't think he is lacking paint apps,
But the translucent plastics should be more of a pinker purple for more contrast
I have the takara arms micron shockwave and didn t apply the stickers (except for the cornball Shock Wave ones) looks grape! ...i mean Great!
Because that takes a lot of time and engineering and their other big guys haven't sold as well as others. They may get to it but they want to tackle easier projects, clearly
Well it looks great but given their history it's a virtual certainty that a metallic version will be by at some point, so that's what I'll wait for. This mold screams for it
That's because their big guys are $400 a pop and in two parts that are nothing without each other. Break that down to five, stomach-ably priced, normal sized figures that also combine, and they'll sell more because each individual does not require the other four for enjoyment. So anyone who just likes Swindle, can get Swindle, for example. You can't do that with Trypticon set A because that's boring as hell and adds nothing to a collection. And, more often than not as we've seen with MP scale, 3P combiners, once people get one member, they typically start snapping up the others.
Same, just wanna see some comparisons. I’m tempted to get him to serve as IDW Shockwave. Might even look good among Studio Series as the video game version of bayverse Shockwave. Depends on price, too
Omega Supreme wasn't in two parts, though. Didn't most retailers offer both parts of Trypticon in a bundle pack by default? I don't know anyone who bought the two parts independently
Ah, yeah, you're correct, but still, Omega being $200+ dollars in one go is a little more than most want to stomach I'm sure, especially for a character people might not care as much about as, say, a big guy like Metroplex, which I think would sell much better. I think the Combaticons would do far better than Trypticon or Omega just because A. more beloved characters and B. you can just buy whatever ones you want individually for cheaper.
GOD, if Planet-X were to make a Vulcan 2.0... I wouldn't care if it was $200.
If that head comes with a built-in light feature, or has enough space to put one in it, I .... will lose ... my mind!!
same here, this is IDW Shockwave. But I cannot recall if he actually transform in this form before? If not then the alt-mode shortcomings will be duly ignored
This showed up in the FoC Multiplayer and concept art mostly. Never in story that I recall
thank you, but I'm talking about IDW comics
A few people came in here not realizing the game design was also the IDW design, wasn't sure if you knew or not is all. I don't think Shockwave EVER transformed in the comics, let alone in this body
I've been looking and maybe I missed it, but is there any actual paint on this? Its colored plastic but maybe theyve yet to hash out the paint masking and just wanted to show off a rough idea?
I'm looking forward to buying this! I made the mistake of buying the 2nd chance shockwave full price just a few weeks before this was revealed and now I'm sure no one would want to buy that off me even for just $30
There’s some purple paint on the abdomen
