HA! I'm currently at week 3 of Nippon-Yassan prepping an item to ship. I wrote a ticket to see what was the hold-up. It's a Bandai exclusive, and a fairly large piece, so I was wondering if they needed to charge extra shipping. Still waiting to hear back and I wrote them on Monday.

 

Yikes! That would drive me crazy to have no updates after waiting that long for I’m assuming an in stock piece?

 

Well I saved about 50 dollars getting it from NY versus BBTS, so... that's the price I pay.

Did any ones from the BBTS sale come with those LED lights? I watched a review of it from Jobbythehong, in it he had the lights and bag of replacement lights. I heard people say early on that it wouldn't have the lights, but then the one in that review seems to be contrary to that.

 

No lights were pre-installed, if that's what you mean. There's a bag with a handful of them in the box.

 

IIRC, all come with lights, but early batches come with MORE lights. Maybe 6 normally, 10 with the bonus ones? 6 in the styrofoam, 4 in a little cardboard box as bonuses.

It's the difference between being able to light up most of it, vs ALL of it at once. Of course, once you realize how incredibly annoying it is to light up any of it at all, no one ever does it again after the first time. One light's all you really need, to learn to say "screw it, not doing this again"...

 

I bought mine early this year (Sometime after Jobby reviewed it, but before Valentine's Day) while BBTS was selling it cheap. I just counted, I have 11 lights.

 

Yeah, the amount of lights or if it had any at all after the first release was what I was wondering. The one in the Jobby video also had for than 6 lights. There seems to be discrepancy in how many lights people said the BBTS sale one came with.

I ordered the supposed last one from BBTS so I was wondering what I was getting. Guess I won't be sure until it arrives.

 

If only they had made him as big as DX9 Gabriel, this guy would have been the centerpiece of my collection, but man he does have a presence.
