Want to mention to folks here, emailed BBTS and they said that this version DOES NOT include the LED pods. Canceled my preorder for this because of that.

I bought it even though there's no LEDs. I'm honestly kind of sick of LEDs in figures because of how much of a hassle they are, especially in this case. Having to turn each individual one on and off every time you want to see it is just unreasonable. I can understand if they're all connected to one circuit and switch together, but even then I find myself not wanting to hunt down the switch and look at them unless I'm physically playing with the figure, which I'm not 99.9% of my life.

My personal opinion is that I would love all LED figures to come with wall adapters so you could run a cord from the figure to the wall and have the LEDs on direct power 24/7. But I know thats just my opinion because I love having a display more than playing with figures after I've touched them enough.

It really is a pain in the aft.

I stressed over getting the lights at initial release. I even bought a couple extra off a TFW member. I've put them in Tryp all of one time.

They are not bright. They do not light up the figure. They don't even light its eyes up. They are a gimmick that was nice of PX to include, but nothing anyone should skip getting this gorgeous figure for not having anymore.

Yeah, no light-up-eyes is a terrible decision. Rather have just that, than glowing knees and elbows....

I looked into adding eye lights, but the head seems superglued together----it'd be destroyed, trying to get it apart.

You guys are in for such a treat.
    DSC_0769_01.jpg
This is easily one of my all-time top 3 figures, it is just that awesome.

    HOWEVER

For those just coming to this party, this guy has super-pointy teeth that have broken off on some due to mishandling, and has a specific way to transform the head out and into its chest:
Also, unless they redid them, PX's instructions are not easy to follow. If you get hung up transforming, check this video. I needed it to get to ship mode.

So somewhere at the top there either literally angled against the wall or not to far from them hanging off the ceiling is where Apocalypse and Unicron are gonna go, both in alt mode. Apocalypse will be the ship for the Dark Counsel and Unicron will be their God and power/corruption giver

That's putting it mildly. WORST INSTRUCTIONS EVER. Now, I don't own every transforming figure ever. But they're the worst I've seen, and I can't imagine even less-helpful ones existing...

Quick question on how this has held up over time.

I have 5 other PX figures and all of their joints have gone soft/loose over time. Has this figure had any issues with loose joints over time. I realize this has ratchets instead of friction joints, i just worry with something this big/heavy starting to fall over as it gets older.
