Looks promising... Geez. I barely have enough time to fiddle with my figures. When these non g1 figures come out, makes me feel like I need to spend some time playing the games or reading the comics too! Not enough time for all this fun stuff!

I wonder how good he will look next to Maketoys Scorponok, that the more I compare the two the more Scorponok seems to be WFC/FOC inspired. I might have to pick that up after Trypticon...

I kinda wish the legs turned into the Corrupted Worm/Giant Spider Monster that you fought in the core instead of just some weird monster thing.
I know it wasn't like that in the game, but it'd be cool to see. And if they're selling this guy in two sets, it would be incentive to buy an extra set of legs.

So Planet X's WFC Trypticon will be called Apocalypse. :inquisiti

Seeing how the ID number for Planet X's latest preceding figure (WFC Starscream) is PX-10, I can assume that the ID number for their WFC Trypticon will be PX-11.

Guys... they listened. In fact they've delivered on every figure they offered in their poll that fans showed an intense interest in. Planet X... you complete me.

Damn, I really wish I could pick this up.

Also, two sets a month apart? That's an interesting idea.

2 sets ? ok. I guess that does help get interest from people who couldnt afford that much all at once.

I wonder about shipping cost with that method. 2 large boxes costs much more than 1 larger box, unless it's right past "the threshhold" where a box size suddenly jumps up tremendously in shipping cost.

Also, 2 big boxes will take up more storage space in the closet than one larger box. Hopefully they see the pointlessness in "exotic, super-luxury boxes" for HALF a figure, and have small, sensible boxes for "parts packs".

Two individual payments spaced far apart means more people can easily afford the thing since dropping a massive wad of money in a single instance is always more difficult. This is the same logic that makes individual releases of combiner figures easier for the average person to get rather than massive incredibly expensive sets all at once.

Its a selling method I've wanted to see companies attempt for larger figures for some time so its nice to finally see one do it. And is probably a big part of how this figure was made possible at all. Its incredibly smart and will help this thing sell way better.

And most people don't care about box storage at all so that's a very minor thing that only concerns a tiny section of the customer base.

They're only a month apart, not half a year or something. A combiner team IS split up----but always across the better part of a year. THAT makes a difference. This doesn't really make Trypticon much more affordable. (A little, yes, but again, nothing like splitting a combiner up across many months).

From Face book. It gets closer!

Release update (Sorry about a late release because we locate our factory lately...)

PX-09 Mors, release around mid of Oct

PX-10 Jupitor, release around late Oct.

PX-01 Genesis reissue, release around mid of Nov (This will be only and last rerun! Please place your preorder soon, we won't reproduce anymore, don't miss this chance to get this solid figure!)

PX Apocalypse, need more time to estimate release date, but won't make it before Christmas, sorry... It will release into 2 different set, hopefully first set can release on early 2017.

Too bad this is taking so long. I would have jumped on this but MM already took my 3p trypticon money.

I don't see the appeal in Diabolus Rex.
It's a nice toy and all, but to me doesn't look like Trypticon at all, and just screams "Zoids painted black".
    But I do like Zoids.
