The metallic version completes my dinobots. I went with the fansproject for all the others, but I think Vulcan fits great stylistically, and really pretty good color wise. His predominant silver matches their silver accents and his dark gray accents matches their dark gray parts.

Can anyone post a photo of Vulcan with the "wings" spread like G1? I heard that that was possible and I want to see what it looks like.

Can't see how it's possible, the only thing on his back if the T-Rex head.

    That EXACTLY what I'd do - have a "mixed" group of Dinobots:thumbs2: :thumbs2: .

Don't wait too much. PX is beginning to show tendencies of not re-releasing figs once the stock is gone.

Quick question. I've received the metallic version of Vulcan during the weekend and I seem to be unable to flip the toes back into the lower legs for transformation into dino-mode. There just doesn't seem to be enough room to pass the plastic pieces that make up the legs.

Is it necessary to pull the toes out or rotate them at a certain angle?

If I'm the only one that has problems with this maybe I should try again tomorrow since Im very tired at the moment and thought it would be a good idea to check the goods for any defects and transform him back and forth (turns out that this probably wasn't a good idea).

Oh, and my copy seems to be a QC ridden mess. Uneven applied paint, gate-marks that where not trimmed correctly (they prevent proper transformation), splotches of paint outside the designated areas, tabs not fitting in properly, etc. So maybe the plastic on mine is warped preventing the toes to fold in....

...it didn't seem to be a problem on any review I watched (of the regular Vulcan).

It might be my weariness at the moment but that unit of Vulcan I have might have the worst QC of any robot toy I received, ever.

Mine is similar. Just work the toe inside. It will catch, and you'll be worried but be gentle and it will be fine. It also got easier to rotate after the first time .

I had the same issues with the toes. Just be patient. Do it over and over again. It'll loosen up sooner or later. Mine has a few paint issues on the hinges but they're not a big deal. But that dino mode....i swear to you its gonna be more than worth it. Vulcan is stubborn just like the bot that he was portrayed as. You've got to fight for your right to party with vulcan. It'll be worth it in the end especually wih the metallic version.

I've got a $20 credit from The Chosen Prime because of an order that got botched, and I'm tempted to pick this guy up.
