I got mine from BBTS. It's in perfect condition. One of the "wings" is a little loose, but nothing to crazy. And no cracks anywhere.

He is intrinsically fragile though. Sludge was pretty much a big brick. Swoop had a couple fins on his back you had to watch out for, but that was is. Planet X is slavish to the FoC designs, which means lots of little spikes and plates on Snarl here, which are going to be weak no matter what.

 

How is RK handling your part request so far? They were terribly slow with me and I had to order another item so they could ship the part with it.

 

They got your part shipped to you? i haven't gotten crap they told me a month

 

Pretty much the reason I am skipping Snarl for this set - as much as it pains me. Even if QC issues are worked out, his very design makes parts of him prone to breakage.

Slag, Sludge (love my Neptune!)), and the future Grimlock will be the 3 I likely will end up with. Ah well, this will be my 4th set of 3p dinos...corners had to be cut eventually.

 

I am only waiting for quirinus to turn up and I'll get both him and summanus at the same time

 

I've emailed tfsource, asking what the hold up was in getting this guy on Monday I believe. Still haven't heard back from them, which just seals it with me that I will never shop there again.

 

Oh sorry, I should have been more clear. I needed a part for different figure, not Summanus.

this is why you get stuff from BBTS. I got my summarus from them, the tab on the right knee broke, and the tail fin joint broke. Without question, they sent me an entire right leg and the entire tail assembly for replacement. The whole process took about 10 business days. 3 to confirm and get the parts to shipping, about 7 days from stockhouse to my house.

 

I have a loose complete summanus for sale if anyone wants him. I'm sticking to giga and ft dinobots

 

I usually do i've only gone away from them twice that was with my Neptune and Summanus both because RK got em first Neptune was fine so i thought i'll get Summanus before BBTS will even get their stock in so i cancelled my Preorder with them and went RK but sure enough same day i order BBTS updates their stock to being IN STOCK and i have to wait for RK to get back from Chinese New Year and then customs AND THEN IT GETS DELAYED by the storm and once i get it its broken (Well cracked) then broke. But long story short chirren BE PATIENT and go BBTS xD

 

Does anyone have a nice, reliable, easy way to make his hip ratchets tighter for an amateur modder?

 

Probably drip a bit of floor polish into it.

 

Ah, I've used nail polish on ball joints many times before, never in a ratchet joint though, but it's worth a try I suppose.

Man, it's like everyone's figure is going to break eventually, unless you just never touch it except now and then... and never ever touch it drunk. This is definitely a shelf queen, haha.

 

My Summanus has no issues from my playtime with it. However, it's still a shelf queen, since playing with it hurts so much.

 

The Chosen Prime just got its second shipment of Summanus in, and TFSource is still waiting on its initial shipment. How frustrating. If I didn't already have store credit, I would have cut ties with them long ago
