I've always loved the Planet X FoC line and I'm a total sucker for metallic repaints, so this pickup was a no-brainer for me. (Order from the Chosen Prime on 7/11 and received this morning, 7/15! Kudos to TCP!) The figs themselves - two copies - are what I expected. Great mold, durable toy, posable, fantastically gleamy metallic shelf presence, lessened somewhat by a more than slightly finicky transformation that's the direct result of the added metallic paint apps, which I kind of expected would be the case. When it gets to the legs in particular, they can be an extra challenge to tab together in truck mode due to the painted tabs being too thick to fit in several slots without applying an uncomfortable amount of force. That said, nothing felt like it was going to break during transformation, the materials are solid, and it did get there in the end, so I'm satisfied enough. It's the trade-off for the shiny finish. But from a play standpoint the original Jupiter is definitely the better toy and the one I'd recommend for someone who doesn't have any version of the mold. But if you're sucker like me for shiny things, it looks great and it's definitely worth the relativity low price point imo.

Agreed with above. Makes me look forward towards when (if) PX does a metallic run of FoC Megs. If I had to complain about anything regarding Metallic FoC Optimus is the color of the blades for the axe and sword. I wished they would have stuck with a more translucent yellow or even orange (or heck, go a little wild and do a translucent orange fading into yellow). But overall I'm in lus ... ,er luv (I said luv, damn it :lol ) with this metallic job.

Now, PX, about dem FoC Combaticons ... ;)

No. I didn't notice it visually, but once I came to the feet through the legs bit of the transformation into truck mode I found that they were just a hair too elevated off of the paint-thickened peg to allow the foot to pass through, so I had to pop them off with a spudger and then re-applied them after transformation.

This is what I’m working with here, the paints made the nub too big, unfortunately I don’t even know if I can remove it. If anyone’s dealt with anything similar, your advice would be appreciated.

I removed a small amount of material from the pegs and then I could get them to sit all the way down. I don't think I had to remove any material from inside the thrusters.

The outer leg panels were the biggest issue on mine. I had to remove material so they could shift up and down (forward and back) and its a tight fit to work between those panels without accidentally hitting the outside and causing a scuff.

Now that I have removed material and transformed it a few times (and removed material if needed), it's much easier to get things to move and tab correctly. Threading those rear panels through the legs is still a pain in the buttocks. Once those double hinges loosen up some, it should become easier.

I pushed them in by pressing them on a table or wall. I recommend getting a angle to do this so the parts don’t move.

My opinions on this toy was that it was a nightmare the first time. Holy shit, everything was so tight. Fortunately, I played more with this toy and it became a better experience that I liked what I bought.

Glad to see some in-hand pics of this guy. He looks awesome, but I think I prefer his original colors since they go better with my other non-metallic PX figures. I just hope they do a reissue of the original version because one of the shoulder pieces on mine snapped during transformation.

Aw fack I think mine had like extra paint or something I pressed down on a table pretty hard and they still didn’t go down lol, any harder and the leg would break or the pegs.

It's sad to see the end of an era. I don't think PX will make anymore FoC figures given how quickly their items get discounted nowadays.

Too many talkers not enough buyers.

We could always try to do a petition. However, you may have a point if people don’t buy they may not have the incentive :(

Their Apocalypse was literally a disaster for them. Virtue signalling has always been easier than doing the real thing.

Let’s see. Try transform the leg like this.
    D18C4E27-C5EE-4F3A-9AB4-039C6B29DD7B.jpeg
And the putting flat on the table like this while also having your fingers inside the part so you don’t move any other part while pressing.
    03356A71-C92D-483B-8BA0-4D8DC470CB72.jpeg
Course, if you’re scared anything will break, I’d probably find some lubricant to help remove the parts and figure out how to make them not crap.

To better convey the figure part (note I transformed the calves to better show where my fingers would be)

    7C8C038E-732C-4231-B582-C39345AF44F4.jpeg

Same applies to the other end of the same part and the rest of the pistons on the other leg.

Can anyone point me to where I can get autobot symbols in the style of the game for this figure? Usually I go with Toyhax, but the only thing they have that resembles what I'm looking for are the HoloGlow strickers...

Can anyone else be so kind as to give additional reviews of this figure so I can justify dropping the $109 on it? Anyone that's bought the metallic and hasn't given their thoughts yet? Haven't bought a planet x figure in a while and my Pluto needs his nemesis.

Well now since Planet x shockwave is going to be out soon, hopefully the FOC era isn't anywhere near done :)

Just got this guy today, my first Planet X figure and I can't get enough of him. I've always loved the designs from the WFC and FoC games and happy I finally had enough extra cash to start grabbing them!

Just a question for anyone who may know though, where can I get the WFC/FoC faction symbols? I attached a picture of what I'm talking about, I can't find them anywhere but see them all over!

If anyone is interested I am looking to sell the regular version of this guy. Transformed just twice and complete with no damage (but no box). Please shoot me a PM if interested.

You can also check my feedback thread linked in my profile.

Whats the difference between the PX-10C and PX-10B? TFsource only has the C in stock but I couldn't find much about it or comparisons to the others. Is it just a reissue of the B or does it have different colours?
