Which name do you prefer ?? At first i liked Cybertron, but to be honest Cybertron just sounds to similar to the names Megatron, Galvatron, Banzaitron for example. While Gorlam could be indeed be cybertronian equialivant for earth. Though Cybertronians sounds cooler than Gorlamians.

Gorlam Prime is just the name for that planet the dead universe folk were changing to a Cybertron-like world, though. We'll never hear of it again now that Furman's run is over (though we did see a glimpse of it in Ironhide issue 3.)

Cybertron. Megatron and to an extent Galvatron are used so much that confusion is nearly impossible, and Banzai-Tron was more of an obscure character from the Action Master era until recently when he got the Botcon exclusive AND the upcoming Bludgeon repaint. Gorlam sounds too generic in my opinion.

i have an idea for the name cybertron, would be cool if the cybertronian language is sorta complex and a bit difficult for humans to speak, so lets say cybertron means Sy'brtou'rn and cybertronian means Sy'brtou'ria.

Not necessarily. There's a line in Man Of Iron (from the UK Marvel G1 comic run, later reprinted in the US run) from Jazz, where he states that his Cybertronian name would be unpronounceable in English. Think how many English Speaking people have trouble pronouncing Chinese words, for example; I see no reason why the Cybertronian language shoujldn't be hard as hell for humans to pronounce correctly.

Gorlam, sounds like some kind of industrial membrane or laminate for the kitchen floor. I prefer Cybertron.

Gorlam sounds too brutish and barberic, Cybertron is much more streamlined and sophisticated sounding.

    Yeah, I prefer Cybertron.

Why Gorlam? Gorlam Prime is an established planet in the TF Universe that is 100% not Cybertron!

Gorlam Prime is not the real Cybertron and never was the real Cybertron. It was a planet that was experimented on by Jhiaxus to turn the denizens into robotic organisms, similar to how one origin story for the Transformers says they evolved from organic life. Jhiaxus was trying to repeat the process on Gorlam Prime. The denizens of Gorlam Prime eventually renamed their planet "Cybertron" after this weird turn of events, with no knowledge of the other Cybertron or outside prompting.
