I hope this is more Inside Out than The Good Dinosaur.

It's not nearly as good looking as The Book of Life is/was.

Sounds like Moana meets The Book of Life.

I agree that Pixar either seems to be trying something new or has all new management or something because this just reeks of a shift in power that everything is different.

To be honest, it already sounds bland and unoriginal. The Book of Life had much more heart from a brief excerpt than this does. I liked the Good Dinosaur. It wasn't great, and you could tell it had a lot going on that the writers never figured out how to put in, but it's been growing on me. It does honestly improve with each viewing.

This, sadly, looks like a huge misstep for Pixar. Apparently someone on that website doesn't like criticism about this movie, because they are white knighting in overload. They've responded to every comment raging in defense of the film.

Like many figured when Disney bought Pixar, it would lead to mostly Sequels and tamer ideas.

If they are already defending the movie before it's come out or we even have a trailer, it's probably not a good sign.
