I have an idea for three shows in a sequence. I'll follow the rules and keep it to one sentence pre show.


1. Nightbeat as a detective solving murders on Cybertron before the war.

2. A team of neutral historians try to save artifacts from the war.

3. A group of young bot friends trying to make their way in a post war Cybertron.

Is this one better than Gundam Wing?

 

Opinions will vary widely. I like it, but because it's unashamedly ridiculous.

 

Do you like Gundam Wing? Because to me, Gundam Wing is terrible. I watched it. I wasn't sure what happened. Then I watched Moblie Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and saw what a really good Gundam series is. Then I re-watched Gundam Wing and realized that my initial reaction was correct. it's an incoherent mess that's hard to follow, but the opening song and the Gundam designs are cool.

 

Hard to tell, like a lot of people my age, it was the first Gundam series I watched by virtue of being the first one aired on Cartoon Network at the time, so I can get nostalgic for it and the movie, but hard for me to judge it anymore since I never rewatched it. I will say that Deathscythe Hell is one of my personal favorite Gundam designs of all time.

 

Yeah, I had nostalgia for it as well because of all the 90's anime on Cartoon Network that was great; Trigun, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, and of course DBZ.

 

I'll also say that when Cartoon Network got confident enough to show the other series afterwards, ones like the original series and 08th MS Team resonated with me a lot more, and G-Gundam was just off the walls fun.

 

The more recent Advent of the Red Comet was fantastic as well.
