I'm considering getting a large figure for my collection and the queston is: Amazon Unicron or BBTS Seacons?

This is as close to a no brainer as possible. Amazon Unicron by like 10 miles.

 

BBTS Seacons have been around for so long, waiting a bit more won't kill you. Its only gotten discounted more and more.

 

Yeah, seriously, they will be free soon at the rate their dropping.

 

Unicron's probably going to be the harder of the two to get as time goes on. Try to get him first would be my advice, then go for the Seacons later on.

I'm more of a combiner person but if you eventually want to get both than yeah. Unicron first.

 

I have never had any seacons before, so why is everyone voting for unicron if they made like 3 or 4 repaints of him? There are probably selling some Unicrons on ebay.

 

Yeah, for over twice the price. Seriously OP, go to Amazon right now and get Unicron. The Seacons will still be there for you next time you're ready.

 

Prob because there is nearly no demand for Seacons. Look at the BBTS Exclusive. It must have been out for a while and still in stock. It's an exclusive, so supposely the demand *would* be higher because of that but YET it is DISCOUNTED. Clearly, its not getting brought. I mean, heck, its 50 bucks.

edit:; Also, Unicron = classics. Seacon is G1. I think atm there is far more demand on classics than G1 figs.

 

Yeah I'd go with the flow and pick up an Amazon Unicron.

The Seacons are nice, but they're shelf warming at BBTS, you'll be able to get them long after Unicron sells out.

 

BTW, How much were the Seacons originally?

Also, get Unicron.

If you collect Transformers (Obviously, you do) you NEED Unicron in your collection! (and Primus...) in some ways he and his brother are more essential to a TF collection than G1 Prime is (based on their Characters) get him.

 

This. You can get a giant robotic planet that eats other planets, or a group robot fish. You choose.

NOTE: Not dissing the Seacons, just telling it like it is.

 

Seacons? You mean those ugly, fugly purple and pink things that don't really look like anything that combine into the ugliest, fugliest combiner that side of Tripedacus*? Those things?

Go for Unicron. The Seacons are the Wheelies and Scooters of the combiners.
