Sorry...sorry, I looked online and can't find anything can someone post a shot of G1 overlord in Robot form from behind and straight on from the side?

Well I'm at work so I can't provide pictures right now, but like most Transformers he looks like crap from the rear/side.

 

I'm picturing Overlord quoting Heath Ledger: "Whutter yuh doin...?!?!?!?!"

 

I don't doubt it, I'm trying to see where some of his components go in robot mode.

Wow. One of the more impressive looks and designs. I know it sounds silly to wonder what a figure looks like from behind, but this proves a good point. A lot of kibble and shit has nowhere else to go but on the back and it usually looks awful and just plain weird.

This guy looks like a work of art, really.

 

Looks quite a bit like Snapdragon, although that may just be the arms and the shirt-tail effect.
