Not bad looking.

 

Looks nice. I really like the attention to detail with the paint scheme. Unfortunantly, since I'm not going to the con (although I am ordering a non-attendee package), I won't be able to get this guy very easily. Hell, I still haven't picked up Flame War, Firestar and Ratchet from last years con. Oh well, sooner or later I guess.

 

Alright, I'll bite... if not them than who? Or can you not say at the present time?

Doesn't look too bad...the size doesn't bother me at all, Waspy was one of the smaller Preds afterall...I wouldn't mind owning this...never will...but still it's a great mold and one of my fav TF characters. Maybe I'll have to look for it on ebay a few months after the convention.

 

One of the nicest uses for that Flipchanger mold I've seen to date. And I echo the need for the megatron version to be made as Terrorsaur.

 

Who'd I miss? I remember seeing Primal, Dinobot, Rattrap, and Cheetor. Rhinox was speculated about, but was he ever shown?

 

I actually think that looks really cool. Very nice addition to the BW-themed boxset.

Even if he knows exactly who, he wouldn't need to say. The Botcon guys already said that none of the BW characters that appeared in the show will have a beast-like form for their Cybertronian appearance.

This has been repeated in every therad about the non key-toting toys. I'm actually rather surprised that you don't remember, since I seem to recall you posting in at least one of them.

Besides, when you check out the pics of the Divebomb repaints that have proper light, while the first had the possibility of being passed-off as Airrazor, the second is most definitely a G1 Divebomb color scheme.

As to this figure, I think it fits Waspinator pretty darn well myself. The Predacon symbols on the wings are especially evocative of a Cybertronian form, with their resemblance to the 'seeker' look. Seems like the right number of Pred symbols to me.

 

No, I remember it being stated that none of these guys were going to have beast forms. I was just wondering if he might know who they are actually supposed to be. Because, I agree 100% that they look nothing like Airazor or Terrorsaur.

 

I thought they would have have Cybertron molds but I guess not. This figure does look pretty good though.

Nice! I couldn't have picked a better toy for a vehicle mode Waspinator. I'd love to have this one as well as the boxed set, I'll have to see what my money does to see if I'll be able to get him or not.

That looks FAN-TAS-TIC! And the mold choice is totally out of the left field.

I can't believe how Waspinator-like this mold looks with the right paint job, and after seeing this, I agree that the Megatron/Megaplex mold would work great as a Terrorsaur.

Works for me, even though I'll probably never own it. Still, it's a pretty proper mold for the character. Hurrah!

 

I don't think the Actual figures for all 5 have been revealed...just the Identities of the characters that will be included in the 5 piece set (it's in the brochure on the botcon.com site). Those 5 chars are Op Primal, Cheetor, Rattrap, Rhinox, & Dinobot....official pics on the site have revealed Prime(Crumplezone), Dinobot(Longrack), & Cheetor(Clocker). Rattrap, while widely accepted as fact, hasn't been OFFICIALLY revealed on botcon.com as a repainted Ransack. As for Rhinox...I'm not sure what has been revealed/leaked about him other than he IS in the set.

My guess is any other Figure, like this sweet Waspinator, would be much like last year's clones/ratchet/fembot repaints available above & beyond the 5 piece set
