Well, I finally finished this guy waaaay to late to be part of the Pickle Rick craze, but here he is regardless. I would have posted a few days ago, but I was tearing my place apart searching for his wrist weapons and shoulder canon. Just found them about an hour ago. Thanks for looking, C&C welcome as always. This Rick, from Dimension C-371, went through almost exactly the same events that Rick of C-137 did due to the extent of which both Ricks went to to avoid attending family therapy; but instead of going to Shoney's to get wriggity wrecked with Beth afterwards, this Rick immediately got to work on a transforming suit of battle armor reminiscent of his previous pickleman form. Transformers was an even huger franchise in Dimension C-371 because that world's Guillermo del Toro directed them all, and they were awesome... Also, Rick has been to a few dimensions where they actually exist, and loves the tech. I can't believe people paid lots of money/traded vehicles for this stuff... It tasted like disappointment. A little spin around... This has BW Cybershark as the base fig with parts from BW Scorponok, TM2 Ramulus, BM Cheetor, and BM Savage/Noble. The pickle head is made from one of those plastic bubble thingamabobs that you get the prize in from a coin machine, JB Weld, and green stuff. His teeth are made from the tips of cut off zip ties. This fell off the table once, and now the pickle head is a pain to remove and put back on... Shit happens. All Citadel paints... Not the strongest disguise from the back, but anyone who witnesses that sight is gonna be fading to black anyways... Annnnd.... Rick's 'Bot mode'... based on the Purge Planet episode battle armor, the head is Cybershark's sanded down and built up. He can use the pickle head like a shield or a club, and, like he manipulated the cockroach nervous system to achieve movement, here Rick stimulates the 'spinal cord' to activate the rapid kick action of the rat legs. (Actual gimmick not included.) The one thing that sucks about this is he NEEDS the leg weapon in hand or he keeps falling backwards from the weight of the kibble. Again, not the strongest from behind, a fair bunch of kibble for sure, but maybe later I'll add a pic with a rat arm attack mode or something... Mega damage shoulder cannon seen in fight with Jaguar... Also made the battery belt out of junk, just like the show, and there are no Duracells in C-371, so Great Value it is! I totally lucked out in getting that cannon to stay put! His wrist screw weapons... They're held on by plastic clips over the wrists, and kinda messed the paint up a bit. If anybody can recommend a great sealant (maybe automotive?) please let me know. Kicking rat ass as usual! Kicking rat ass with a potato peeler!
Every now and then you see a custom that is so ridiculously off the way and still well done, it's impossible not to love it. Whole time I was looking at "pickle mode" I was wondering what in the heck the robot mode was going to look like, and you delivered! I'm also impressed that both modes have a completely different set of limbs being used, instead of your typical legs become legs/arms become arms deal you see a lot. Well done. Weird, but well done!
Thanks! I do enjoy creating stuff that nobody else has done before, since I copy so many sweet ideas from here... Thank you! Don't get me wrong, it's not the best bot mode, but I'm still pretty happy with the results. Oh, just wait, I have a few more of those in the works. Not Ricks, but Fuzors, lol Definitely one of my favorite epiosdes! Thanks, but why do you wish I hadn't? Thank you! And horribly, lol... Thanks! Thank you!It won't be cursed for long with Curse Purge Plus!
**bruuurp** I'm sure all those Rattraps are saying wubba lubba dub dub right now, but this is amazing.
