Armada, Energon, Cybertron, or Animated? Which incarnation do you like the most of the group? Heck add RiD to the list of selections too if you'd like.

 

Animated. Every show from The Unicron trilogy can be described as a glorified intergalactic scavenger hunt.

 

It's been a long time since I watched R.I.D or Armada, and I haven't even watch Energon. I'll do my best.

3. R.I.D. (come one Prime combined with magnus, that alone makes it awesome)

and if we throw G1 in there it'd be tied with Animated.

 

From those five, I would go with Animated.

Never really watch the other shows to have much of a option(spell wrong. Yay.).

 

I'm an unashamed Armada fan. Still my favorite TF toyline to date.

 

Animated is currently tied with RID for #1 in my book (for now). RID was my "G1" so it's always going to stay high up in my favorites lists.

 

So far I like Animated better that RiD which trumps all of the Cybertron Trilogy.

The back end of Armada really wasn't too bad plot-wise, but the erratic animation quality and the god-awful voice acting ("Hi! I'm Rad!") coupled with the decompressed storytelling style just got the better of the whole thing. A shame really because it could have been so much better. The other two Cybertron Trilogy series just sacrificed everything for the sake of toy porn.

So right now Animated is #1 of the choices, and probably #4 of ALL TF 'toons after G1, BW, and BM.

I havint even really seen Animated yet and I can call right now that show wise its better then any of the "Unicron" trilogy shows and RiD put together.

Toy line wise is another story as Galaxy Force/Cybertron wins this race by a mile in my book.

 

Animated. But, I'd of much rather had a show with the characters and pacing of Animated with the style and animation of Car Robots. I can't say I've liked the style of art used for humans in any series other than G1. There is something about the japanese anime style that doesn't seem to fit with Transformers. The G1 style is a bit more styleized real life rather than over the top exagerated cartoony. This is coming from a huge fan of Anime.

Animated really is the best show I've seen since season 1 of G1. Beast Wars had pretty damn good characterisation, but I didn't like the over all concept. Here we have the best of both, with BW characters and a G1 story type.

 

I didn't get to see much of Armada, Energon, or Cybertron. I can't be a judge for any of this, but from the looks of things, I like Animated a lot better. RID introduced me to the Autobots and Decepticons (I actually thought the constant mentioning of Autobots and Decepticons was just something thrown into Beast Wars).

 

Animated by far above the others. Beast Wars remains my favorite show with G1 following.

 

RID with Animated in a close second.

3. Energon(made me stop watching TF but I sorta liked it)
4. RID(saw dubbed episode, looked bad, but looks better then Cybertron)
5. Cybertron(could never watch a full episode because of its horrid theme song)

 

I think animated would be that for just about all fans if it only had much better animation and drawing style. (Like the Ninja Turtles animation has... would've made it nearly a masterpiece and attracted more people.)

Originally I was going to say RiD but I'm still not so sure. I didn't really like the slapstick tone it had in it's episodes. Armada was good near the end... I'm going to have to think this over...

 

I was a big fan of teen Titans and The Batman so it was easy to adapt to the designs for me.
Not so much for others.
But we get good score. Great new theme song. Great voice actors. Animation that isn't crappy CG or doesnt have animation mistakes. Neat characters. Interesting humans. Good amount of comedy. AND a human under the age of 15 who isn't the most annoying thing in the world and actually has a purpose.
