i'm planning on making a comic and i want too know which type of photoshop E. C. R. former use's because his comics look awesome or if nobody know's what type would be best for making comics like his.

he's at a yearly military training thing in san diego and i don't know if he has internet access.

 

If you're talking about picture quality, depends on the camera you use more than the program, you can do practically the same things using CS2 as you would using CS5

Same thing goes for effects, you can replicate anything you can do in CS5 in CS2 or any other version as far as I've tested, minus a few changes in the layout ofcourse

 

I believe ECR uses GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program

GIMP is free, BTW. Photoshop is expensive.
