Besides the "We have a Hulk..." and "Was that Howard the Duck?" bits, I was rather disappointed, I the Marvel characters looked to weird next to the regular cast with all the detail and shading, and such like. Also, a couple of questions. Why did Hulk not turn into Bruce Banner, why couldn't Iron Man get out of his armor, and how come Spider-man never seemed to have web-shooters? I expected far too much out of this didn't I?
Forgot all about it. I'm sure it'll be on like 100 times in the next month so I'll see it eventually.
I got to see half of it before the recording screwed up. I liked what I saw though. I don't normally watch Phineas and Ferb but it was pretty funny. I liked the evil scientist guy's comment to Red Skull "Is your head about to catch on fire or is that someone else?"
I found Whiplash to be really funny in this for some reason. I also liked Red Skull's speech problems and how the villains interacted overall. Couple of humorous gems with the heroes and nice Stan lee cameo as well as the Howard the Duck reference. Also that song they played during the last battle was catchy as heck.
Well it's about time, the show finally wrapped up. I think the show lasted longer than it should have been...but honestly the show's not terrible just repetitive after too many times. Though I still like Doofenshmirtz and Perry's dynamic.
I like the show. Yes it is the same basic thing over and over again by the bare bones, but it is still inventive and hilarious. Love Doofenshmirtz and the -inators. I do like that they lamp shaded the fact they have so many more episodes than days of summer. In one episode Phineas says summer is half over. Buford says "Is that all? Because I've been keeping track of these things and it is way over 200.."
OK, I really, really do not know what to think of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ko-6ER6fFw Was that actually Mark Hamill?
Ok watching the Star Wars special and it is pretty good so far. Notes: - Doofenshmirtz invented the Death Star but did as a tiny version to crack walnuts. Empire just made it bigger - P&F used power converters to attach pod racing engines to their speeder and show it off to Luke. - Watto shows up in Mos Eisley. Phineas, Ferb, and Watto look at the plans and Ferb points out the exhaust port. Watto mentions it is almost like someone put a self destruct button on it. What kind of idiot would do that.. cut to Doof having trouble with a water fountain - In the cantina, two guys are carrying off Greedo's body and one says the line "Somebody said he shot first, but I could have sworn it was the other guy.." So far very funny. Lots of little digs at SW, but very funny. Don't think anyone from the movies did the voices. But still amusing nonetheless.
If anyone is interested, I just saw the episode Act Your Age. That's right, the episode that's suppose to air next year has aired in Russia, but it was in Russian. After years of waiting, it's come to this.
I know I'm ressurecting an old zombie, but.....Simon Pegg & Nick Frost! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhCa66f9lQI Just jumping for joy to see Shaun and Ed from Shaun of The Dead again, only to be turn into a DoofenZombie!
Had a laugh at the new episode. The gang creates giant planet racers. Great little exchange with a mild jab at family friendly Disney: Buford: And I'll pilot Ur-an-os Baljeet: That is not how it pronounced.. Burford: It is on this network..
Just watched the episode and it was hilarious as usual. That clip is about all there is of those two other than a quick bit after they get turned back to normal. They are also character named Shaun and Ed in the credits. There is also a cameo by George Romero as a reporter. Apparently Cloris Leachman did a voice too.
Have any of you seen Act You Age yet? All I wanted was to see what happens at the end. I saw the ending on youtube... Spoiler Man, It was sooooooooooooooo beautiful. I think Phineas and Isabella are the best love story since Romeo and Juliet.
...what?! Wow, that's BIG news. Phineas and Ferb is beating a dead horse but the people working on it know how to write and entertain. Good for them that they know when to step down and that Disney knows talent when they see it. Let's just hope the next 'toon isn't as formulaic. Hey Fox, take some notes.
