'Phantom Tollbooth' Movie in the Works From TriStar | Spinoff Online | TV & Film News Daily

"A film adaptation of the beloved children’s novel “The Phantom Tollbooth” is in the works from TriStar Pictures."

I don't know if anyone remembers this story, but I do. It was a wonderful children's fantasy novel. Chuck Jones made an adaptation, but I didn't really enjoy it too well. I hope this version will be better and be great like the book was.

Never read the book but I did see the original movie. One of Chuck Jones' best works (And Butch "Eddie Munster" Patrick in it as well.)

Interesting to see how this one turns out.

I hope production doesn't get stuck in the Doldrums.
