I'm torn as to which version of Starscream I should get. Most reviews keep saying that FE Starscream is the definitive Prime Starscream, but I would prefer a Voyager sized one to the smaller deluxe. Which version of Screamer do you guys prefer? What particular aspects of the figure do you like?

I prefer the deluxe. Looks better on a shelf next to the other characters. A Starscream that towers over Soundwave and is almost taller than Megatron? No thanks.

I don't have the voyager but I do have the FE and just looking at the voyager in the package at the store it doesn't look half as good as the FE one. I like that the deluxe size Starscream also scales better with dreadwing.

I like the Voyager. It does several neat Transformation movements, and has a sleek jet mode, and an accurate robot mode. Plus the face is spot-on.

    The FE isn't bad, though.

I like both for different reasons. If you feel that you really need a bigger one, by all means get the voyager, it's a good and underrated figure. I like that it's full of personality and is extremely poseable, and the transformation is interesting.

The FE deluxe is great too, of course, but you'll see no shortage of people defending that one.

Let me see, FE fits more if you are a proper scale fan. The alt mode also fits more as a deluxe, instead of voyager.

FE Starscream to looks and works better for me:

I like the Deluxe better, I fiddled with the Voyager for about a day then returned it.

I don't have the FE, but the voyager's face sculpt is perfect. It has very good posability and as mentioned previously, a sleek jet mode. There are really only two things I don't like about it. His hips don't snap into anything so his legs can be a little tricky when posing, and he is tall. His wings make him a bit taller then Megatron. I like the voyager size, he just doesn't scale well with the other figures. If we can get a Weaponizer or Gatling Megatron that would solve that problem though. ;)

I have them both, or should I say I have the FE and my son has the voyager. FE wins, no contest when putting him in line with the rest of the cast.

Both are outstanding figures, among the very vest in their respective lines. You honestly can't go wrong either way.

The deluxe is what I'll display though, because it's size matching up better against the rest of the line.

I don't display my figures by cast, so I love the Voyager.

I have both. I find the deluxe to have a more accurate look and a more complex, fun transformation. He ends up being just slightly hunched forward like he is in the cartoon. The transformation even gives him the thruster on his back, which is show accurate. I really love that! Yes, it certainly scales better with the rest of the deluxes and Voyagers. It's also extremely posable.

The Voyager looks pretty nice, but has a strange waist that doesn't really lock in place. It usually stays, though. He looks pretty good in robot mode, but is certainly out of scale (if that matters to you). I found him disappointing after having the FE deluxe as he isn't as accurate, but my girlfriend likes him. He can do a cool pose where he's rubbing his chin, thinking about how to usurp Megatron.

Personally, I very much prefer the FE Starscream to the PRID version.

    PRiD. No contest.

Seriously, best representation of the character.

And you're a bad person if you disagree.

    Both.
After putting both Dreadwing and FE Starscream side-by-side in alt mode. It's would be nice.

As someone who prefers his Starscreams to be large/tall, the voyager. Though FE is good as well.

    Ideally, get both.

I prefer the FE not only because he fits more scalewise with the rest of the cast but also that...and I know that they're not in-show characters...there is a complete trio of Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker all from the FE mold.
