Sorry if there is already a post about this but it has to happen. We need to revive Ironhide and Jazz. and put them in Transformers: Prime.  

 

Bulkhead fills the warrior role already but I would definitely be up for a Jazz appearance. Surely some Autobots had to have picked up on the dark energon explosion from space, particularly if the legend is as well known as it seems to be.

 

They'll be in eventually. They're inevitable. The only petition we need regarding Ironhide is for him to get a Classicsverse Toy that doesn't look like somebody smashed it with a hammer and glued it together.

 

I would definately like Jazz and Ironhide!

 

Screw those mainstream Autobots. I want the slightly more obscure ones.

You knoe who needs a Prime representation? Punch/Counterpunch. Or you know what would be neat? Nosecone, and he'd turn into one of those Energon mining drills.

 

Kinda hard to see where they'll fit in.

Bulkhead is already the big guy, and Ironhide's role as Optimus' old friend has been taken up by ratchet.

Similarly, Arcee is already the second in command as well as a cool, skillful fighter, whilst Bee has taken up cool car duties.

 

Hasn't Ironhide already been seen at Botcon?

 

Yes, but only as a Cyberverse toy.

 

How about we have Ironhide take on Kup's personality as the grumpy, retired badass leader of the Wreckers?

Jazz can pretty much be lifted directly from his Animated incarnation and would still bring something new to the cast so he seems more likely.

 

I definitely vote for Jazz! Always loved him, and be nice to see him be a main char (he hasn't been in a long time, and I don't really count the movie version where he had like 3 lines).

I think Jazz could bring something new...the 'Bots need a cool cat who has a sense of humor (maybe plays pranks or something).

 

Or, why not have Kup instead?

 

Because we already have a design for Ironhide and Kup is not a movie name therefore it wouldn't sell as well.

 

Ironhide is a bit redundant unless Bulky bites it, but the cast could use Jazz as the totally chilled out guy.

So you're saying that just because Kup was not in the movies that he will not sell well? If they introduce Kup properly and write him as a good and memorable character that kids will like and get attached to I am sure he would sell well. Just because a certain character was not in the movies does not mean they can not introduce them in the show.

Still I do think naming him Ironhide would increase sales. Kup seems to be a shelf warmer in my area.

I don't mind them using Ironhide, but as someone else said, I am tired of mainstream Autobots. Kup doesn't sell very well in my area either. I would just want him to be in the show because I like his character.

 

Even tho Jazz was one of the "mainstream" bots, he's never really had any development in any series, including the comics. I would like to see more done with him really.

 

Have Hot Rod come in and take over for Cliffjumper as the hotshot, then slowly watch him mature over two seasons.

 

Let's leave characters up to the makers and not force in unnecessary characters.
