This is an appreciation thread peter Cullen about amazing things he’s done

    1. This video

So basically this person met peter Cullen and spilled his heart to peter and said “ you saved me from taking my own life “ then peter said “ stay here, stay here, our world needs you, and It take guts” and peter Cullen hugged the person it goes into more detail in the video

    2. Hugging someone at a convention
I read this on Reddit about a month ago I don’t remember the whole thing clearly so I’ll write what I remember so basically the person had no father growing and Optimus prime was basically his father figure so he was at a convention with peter and he was so excited he started crying so peter got up from where he was and to the person and hugged him

    3. Telling a kid to hang on to his dreams
I read on a YouTube comment a few years back my memory is a bit fuzzy but I’ll write what I remember, A kid was dying from cancer and peter told him to hang on to his dreams the future is built on dreams

That’s all I remember for now
Please write any experience you had with him

I thought I could write about how awesome Peter Cullen is as both Optimus Prime and in general (from what I've heard), but unfortunately I do not know him personally.

I'll post pics of my Masterpiece Peter Cullen figure since it's an appreciation thread. Unfortunately I don't have it on me to take pics.

Also both Peter and the police have told me to leave him alone.....I'll give him a couple more days before I try again.....off to MP Frank Welker's house for now...

I've never really gotten too into celebrities or had a huge desire to meet any, but I've always thought it would be neat to meet Peter Cullen and shake his hand. He seems like a genuinely nice and down-to-earth guy. Optimus is likely among the most iconic characters ever, but that status doesn't seem to have gotten to Cullen's head. He seems very humble and appreciative of the role and of the fans. It's honestly sort of a shame he's kind of flown under the radar. Like, his IMDB is mostly Optimus nowadays. I feel like he deserves more than that. There have been other takes on Optimus, but Cullen is Optimus in the same way that Ian McKellen is Gandalf. I enjoy Gandaf in the Hobbit cartoon, but Ian McKellen's performance just clicks so well. Same with Cullen as Optimus.

Am I the only one who is really disappointed that he never got to play Ironhide again after G1?

I remember reading that the “the future is built on dreams” line was put in the show by Cullen.

I love his voice acting for Optimus and Ironhide. Outside of Transformers, I always liked him as KARR in Knight Rider and Cindarr in Visionaries.

In YouTube videos of his convention appearances, he always comes across as a true gentleman and a father figure.

Never had any 'role models' or even any interest in reading about the lives of celebrities, or even put any stock to them.

When I returned to transformers after my hiatus, slowly and by happenstance info on Mr (that Mr is a term I use sparingly and only for persons I truly respect), Cullen came my way. I have to say that such a man who build a legend on his own hard work and reached such high lofts, remains a gentleman and 'common' man, a decent and warm human being.

If only other so called 'role models' and 'stars' could half as great humans as he is.
