Anyone planning on playing this enhanced version of a modern classic? I got a Vita just so I could play this game.:p

I bought the Solid Gold edition. Now I'm just waiting for the Vita to drop in price.

Probably not. I LOVE Persona 4! However, I don't own a PlayStation Vita, nor really care to. I'll stick with my PS2 original. Cool that you'll be able to play it. Should be awesome!! Let us know.

Having a blast with it. Unlike P3P, it's a upgrade from the original rather than a downgrade.

Picked up a Vita last night just for P4 Golden.

Well, all the free games from the PlayStation Plus sub helped as well ;)

Just ordered a Vita from the Amazon deal yesterday, currently watching the story videos on Atlus's official page and deciding Person 4 Golden is most certainly going to be the next game I buy after settling in with my new Vita.

Haven't played any SMT before, but I had almost bought Strange Journey on DS several times, I just loved that boxart so much.

Strange Journey is a great game, especially if you like into the unknown Sci-fi settings.

I got my Vita on sale yesterday just for this game, I was finally able to pick up my copy…man it became scares in my area, just about every store I went too sold out. Finally got lucky and found it at a brick and mortar game store, though it was only the window copy they had left.

That said, I'm hooked…this game's as great as I remember it to be.

Although, I'm slightly bummed that they did not give you the option of playing as a female Protagonist, like in Persona 3 Portable.

I wish we'd have a female Protag too. Maybe we'll get one in a P4 10 year anniversary edition or something.

Oh man. I heard the Reaper in Yukiko's Castle. Not cool, Atlus!

Is the reaper in this game? I haven't encountered him yet and I'm already nearing September.

Yeah, he hides in chests this time around. Apparently you get warnings before you open it. I get the feeling that it's not nearly as frightening as him lurking around Tartarus. :lol

I so want this game! I played the PS2 version and loved it. But I don't have a VITA a yet. :/

After opening around 20 chests in a dungeon, you'll start hearing his chains rattling and he'll be in the next chest. Didn't know this at the time. I expected to turn a corner and run into him, so I teleported out. :lol

Dunno what to tell you. If you didn't like how 3 played then I'm not sure if you'd like P4.

I played far enough where I can now use some of the online features.

Gotta say, I like how they were implemented. They're subtle and doesn't change the game in any ground breaking ways. I also like how you can see what other players did that day, makes narrowing down what to do easier.

I like 3, even if I'm playing the PSP version. Does 4 have actual dungeons or more random-generated floors again?

Yeah, 4 plays similarly to 3, so all the dungeons get randomized with each visit.

Better than both IMO. As for the dungeons thing, it's not randomly generated anymore, at least in Golden. It's just that when you later return to the floors (if you choose to) the map is filled in again.

No they don't, from what I've played the floor layouts remain the same each visit.

I've been spending a rather unhealthy amount of time on P4G since I got my copy; I never played the original (though I have watched the anime adaptation, save for the bonus true end episode), so I was only partly spoiled to the major plot events.

But even so, it's still a fantastic game.

Wow, I didn't realize that they added new tracks for this version of the game.

The new songs are great, I like the new opening song it's a very catchy and upbeat song…but it really doesn't go with the overall story of P4.

I love the new battle theme they added though.
