Sad to hear, I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

 

The coroner's report states Heath Ledger died as a result of a fatal combination of prescription drugs - a variety of anti-spasm pills and allergy relief. I for one was horrified, particularly as I'm using several of the same treatments myself.

 

Hope she gets well soon.

 

I have a friend that is an extra for that scene in Indiana. He had to drive his own car on the highway shoot just like everyone else. Hope for a speedy recovery.

 

its not surprising someone got hurt on the set. member when shia had to get stitches in his eye? its a dangerous set. but accidents are bound to happen. i just never expected it to be this serious. hope she gets well soon

See, when I read the headline the first thing I thought was "How long is it going to take for someone to just automatically blame Bay for this?"

And, of course, it happens no sooner then the second post and pretty much went on from there. There's absolutely no common sense.

It's like when people defend Fox not being in the 3rd movie by saying "She made the right choice. She just kept getting thrown into danger by Bay." IT'S AN ACTION MOVIE. There is always, ALWAYS a chance that someone, actor, stunt-person, extra, crew, director or otherwise, could get hurt. People need to learn to think first before opening mouths or, in this case, posting comments.

I wouldn't begrudge her if she did. That's a very nasty accident, and by no means was it her own fault.

 

If she does sue, then the budget for this movie may very well be $400 million.

 

Oh man, I was cringing the whole time while reading that. I really hope she's ok, that sounds worse than anything I could've guessed.  

 

Waivers/Insurance got it covered unless the accident was due to supreme negligence.

That sounds pretty horrible/devastating. What a terrible incident.

 

Seriously, it happens. Here's to a speedy recovery, and I hope she is ok. It was an accident people, just because it's Bay doesn't mean it's his fault.

Yeah, see, something about that doesn't sit well with me. And I'm not jumping on the Bay hate wagon, but I don't think you're suppose to put untrained extras into stunt scenes. It just seems like there'd be a rule against that.
Yeah, I know, accidents happen. But stupid decisions can also get people hurt.

Eeeeesh...That's a lot more nasty then what it originally sounded like. This article makes it sound like this poor woman got scalped.

 

I wish for her speedy recovery, and I'm glad that others wish for the same.
